185 I'm looking for books that a young teen can read that might give perspective or ideas on dealing with bullying and not being what everyone else considers normal.

Thank you
185 PLAGIARISED... Is that better spelling? Lol
185 It's definitely Never Me. If not, someone plague rises a story exactly ;)
185 Yeah, still looking. Haven't reread FSoG since, so there's a chance I've mixed some of it, but I just reread my original post and I'm sure there's that moment of 'why didn't she mention birth control before'... and the birth control in FSoG is a whole other direction from memory.

I have read Noah in the interim and its def not that either.
185 No worries. Love an easy find ;)
Happy reading.

185 Thank's guys. I've actually never read NR I don't think, so not that one. Although I'll be keeping an eye out for it.

I have read Falcon ridge, but I don't think it's the one tho. I'll try and find it and do a quick skim to see in the next few days jic.

Thanks heaps :)
185 Lol... I read SO MUCH that I'm always surprised at exactly how many unsolved threads I've got no clue about. Then I burst my bubble and remind myself that there are millions of books and thousands of readers just in this group. The range of languages and countries is huge... and then there's the different genres and ways people find books with all the different platforms. Add to that the different readers experience and focus from reading each book and doing their best to translate that into short form for the query...

In the end it's actually pretty surprising just how many threads get solved here. There's just so many opportunities for 'the wrong' details or timing to step in and make the few people who could help with each query just miss seeing it.

I saw one a few weeks ago that I think was a year old... and I knew exactly the book they were looking for... I'd just kept missing their bumps. And I check the group at least once or twice a day.
185 Long shot... She is dull and dazed by drugs her husband and psych insist she takes for 'her issues'.

The Truth in my Lies
185 Long shot. First book is H (MC) knocking h (very not MC) up and stopping her from running away so he can be part of his kids life. h is studying as lawyer, and decides to focus on representing MC club. Second book starts with her getting another member out of bail for murder. I've not read that one, so not sure how focused on the lawyer bit it it.

185 I'm almost certain this is the book I'm thinking of. He's bad guy mobish and she's a trapped 'girlfriend/toy' her 'owner/boyfriend' is happy to share around. H is offered a go and he walks out with her, much to the other guys distress as he's not giving up his toy.

Check out Keep by Kaye Blue

185 Ok... I THINK this was a book. It's possible though that it was a movie or an urban myth or even a story from a friend of a friend, or hell, it could have been a dream :/

- Would have been about 20ish years ago, give or take
- I think it was focused on the man
- I think there was multi relationships, including dating, long term dating and marriage/s(?)
- May have had some 'we're together, why do we need to get married just for a piece of paper' relationship at some point
- I'm pretty sure there were 'friends who saw it all' by him(?) right the way through the book
- I think he was in his forties, but could have been older, when he realised relationships just weren't for him and decided to just get on with life
- I don't remember kids anywhere, but there could have been some along the way... If there were, I think they would have been adults by the end

The scene I remember (I think) was needing to get something in the mail, but tonight or tomorrow... Decides to just get it done and ends up running into THE ONE in the rain when they are both just tying to get their deliveries in the box and get out of the rain. The whole meet cute and they know straight away this is special.

- There's a dinner with the friends later on and everyone thinks (to themselves) that they realises that THIS was the relationship that was meant to be. The rest were kind of forced because 'people aren't supposed to be alone and must have partners'.
- my memory is that the woman was younger, maybe mid to late twenties, but she may have been older than that
- the book doesn't go much past their getting together

Thanks :)
