I have read Falcon ridge, but I don't think it's the one tho. I'll try and find it and do a quick skim to see in the next few days jic.
Thanks heaps :)

In the end it's actually pretty surprising just how many threads get solved here. There's just so many opportunities for 'the wrong' details or timing to step in and make the few people who could help with each query just miss seeing it.
I saw one a few weeks ago that I think was a year old... and I knew exactly the book they were looking for... I'd just kept missing their bumps. And I check the group at least once or twice a day.

- Would have been about 20ish years ago, give or take
- I think it was focused on the man
- I think there was multi relationships, including dating, long term dating and marriage/s(?)
- May have had some 'we're together, why do we need to get married just for a piece of paper' relationship at some point
- I'm pretty sure there were 'friends who saw it all' by him(?) right the way through the book
- I think he was in his forties, but could have been older, when he realised relationships just weren't for him and decided to just get on with life
- I don't remember kids anywhere, but there could have been some along the way... If there were, I think they would have been adults by the end
The scene I remember (I think) was needing to get something in the mail, but tonight or tomorrow... Decides to just get it done and ends up running into THE ONE in the rain when they are both just tying to get their deliveries in the box and get out of the rain. The whole meet cute and they know straight away this is special.
- There's a dinner with the friends later on and everyone thinks (to themselves) that they realises that THIS was the relationship that was meant to be. The rest were kind of forced because 'people aren't supposed to be alone and must have partners'.
- my memory is that the woman was younger, maybe mid to late twenties, but she may have been older than that
- the book doesn't go much past their getting together
Thanks :)
