185 Congratulations on finding your book Courteney! I'll go ahead and move this to Solved for you. :)
185 That's a great idea (first time poster pop-up) but have no idea if or how that could happen. I agree with you, LG, people don't read the rules of posting and the generic thread titles are out of control. But one time I did change someone's heading to include detail & they got a little snippy about it, so I backed off and stopped doing that.

Perhaps if the other mods are on board we could add an official statement somewhere on our group page saying that moderators may rename any thread labeled merely "help!" (Or worse yet: "LOOKING FOR A BOOK")
185 I would be willing to do it for threads that I get involved with - can't promise to do it for all because my available free time varies wildly and sometimes weeks go by without a chance to check in.

Its a good idea and I've thought about doing it before, but wonder if it's a bit rude or presumptuous to do? I'd like to get other mods' opinions.
185 You're welcome! Glad that was the right one. :)
185 Maybe Witch - which was recently re-released as a two-in-one Wicked: Witch & Curse.
185 You're welcome!

I'll go ahead and move this to Solved if you like, Sarah. Glad that was the right one. :)

185 Ever This Night?

There's a user review on Amazon that gives a bit more detail: http://www.amazon.com/Ever-This-Night...

185 I'm on it!
185 Where I'm Bound, maybe?
185 Done.
185 Yay! So happy that's the right one!! You're very welcome and I'll move the thread to Solved for you.

I found it by doing an advanced book search, limiting publication date and publisher (trying a few of the top Christian publishing houses) and using just the keyword "scorpion"
185 Evermore for the link to Destiny's suggestion.

185 Kind of a random guess: The Lake at the End of the World
185 OK, I downloaded the e-book and read it yesterday. The summary I found on Loganberry's is spot on. The twin girls are being haunted by Hester, the very unlikeable cousin of the other twins from long-ago. One of the modern-day twins keeps having visions/time slips back to Hester's time, in the 1830s or so.
