Kim, this is a free for all challenge so you can make your own rules :) welcome Zonia! It's been beautiful in ns up until today when we had a big ol dump of snow :)

Lol both the girl on the train and silver linings playbook are ones I have tentatively placed in those same categories :)

Welcome Kim, what an interesting idea!

I'll probably read that for the same prompt, I've been dying to read it and gone girl so maybe that one for a book everyone is talking about.

Now that Christmas is over and I've finished my 2015 challenge, I am fully looking forward to starting this one! I think I will be starting with one that I got last year for Christmas and couldn't fit into a prompt, Food: a Love Story by Jim Gaffigan probably to fill my book written by a celebrity:) what are you planning to start with?

I've been looking into books by celebs that aren't memoirs or autobiographies (since there are several of those categories in the 2016 popsugar challenge; autobiography, political memoir, this one and written by a comedian) and came across this
http://www.popsugar.com/celebrity/Fic...I'm interested in Steve Martin's which could fit the comedian category too :)
http://www.therichest.com/expensive-l...I loved the Celestine prophecy, had no idea it was self published!

Leeann I think you've come to the right place :) read whatever you want to, enjoy it!

I found the first got book really hard to get through, I really want to love them but I don't :( but if you like dystopias Margaret Atwood's are wonderful and not difficult to get through imo, the whole oryx and crake series is awesome, and oryx and crake or the year of the flood don't have to be read in order because they kind of happen at the same time.

I know you're not into fantasy, Mandy, but a book I love is called the Color of her Panties (piers Anthony) and is really not sexual at all but my brother was reading it in school in Jr. High and his teacher called my parents

I read that for a memoir or something like that this year, I really enjoyed it.

Summer of the Swans is great and I totally agree anything by Roald Dahl or EB White would be awesome too! I've always thought I should read little women so I'll probably try it. But like I've said before I wont be slogging through things I'm not enjoying this year :)

You could use it as an author you feel you should have read but haven't :)

Ooh I haven't read that either! I forgot about that one, that's why I wanted to make this group!

I was thinking about doing one like "2 books with the same noun in the title" like the girl on the train and the orphan train or orange is the new black and a clockwork orange. I just think it would be a fun one :)

Lots of authors have written short stories, who's your favourite? Mine is probably Margaret Atwood

Hey I could use these book I used for "colour in the title" lol Orange is the new Black ;) what are you planning for this one? Maybe one of the Hannah Swenson novels by Joanne Fluke?

What is your hobby or passion? I love reading, horseback riding, traveling.

I don't think I'll be doing this one, the only book in this category I can think of is 50 Shades and I think we've all agreed we want this to be a fun challenge... I'd have to force myself to read that and I am not interested.

I've read so many books about and set during WW2 so I think I might try something more recent for this one.
