Oh I read that for book club, Mandy I can't remember if it was the one you're in. I really liked it but didn't realize it was a series.

Happy Halloween!
I've been switching between a couple books this week so didn't finish either but probably will today or tomorrow. I've given up on worrying about some of the categories, I'm focusing on getting to my goal number and I'll see what categories I fill in that. A couple books for my categories I am on the waiting list for the library so they'll likely come in the new year so I'm not going to stress over it.
How did everyone else's week go? How are you celebrating Halloween if you do? Hubby and I like to decorate pretty elaborately and we'll take the boys out to family and friends tonight :)

Well this week I haven't finished any but I did make good progress on the second book in the Lunar series. How's everyone else doing? We're getting down to the wire!

Sorry I actually forgot yesterday was Monday lol I finished My Secret Sister this week and have given up on my Sheree Fitch one. I'm disappointed because I think I'd actually like it but I'm not in the mood, it's about a chick who is facing her own mortality battling cancer and Im just not into it: I'll try again in a bit when I'm feeling it. Hope everyone else is having a good week :)

I read that too for the same prompt last year, I really enjoyed it. Clara Hughes is a hero of mine :)

Nice Mandy! I actually have read 21 of 30, nine books will be right but it is doable if I stick to books I actually want to finish lol I am not sure I'll get all of my prompts done but hopefully I will get close to my 30.

I'm starting to wonder if I'll make it this year! It's definitely been a slow one for me for reading. I do have a couple on the go now and one in particular is on my phone so I'm getting through a few pages here and there while nursing through the night or just holding the baby because he doesn't like to be put down to sleep. I also got Margaret Atwoods new boom and am looking forward to starting it.

It's funny that in this last stretch before baby comes I'm actually reading more! I finished Cinder the first in the Lunar Chronicles which is for a book based on a fairy tale. I also finished The Kill Order, which means when the last one comes out in the maze runner series I'll be all ready for my book released this year! Yay! How's everyone else doing this week?

Hey all! How is everybody doing? I had a good week, I finished book 2 and 3 of the maze runner series and am about 2/3 through Cinder. I'm really enjoying it despite being somewhat underwhelmed when I started. When will I learn that if I'm dragging myself through a book I just need to stop and read something different?! Lol I guess I'm a sucker for punishment. I have flipped through a few pages here and there in the other 2 books that I'm working on but nothing major.

We are into September! This baby will be here in like 2 weeks! Yikes. Anyway, I managed to read The Maze Runner which I'd been interested in and realized they have the ebook at my library, the second in the series came available today so that should be finished in a few days. I also started Kiss the Joy as it Flies by Sheree Fitch whose kids books I LOVE but it's the first of her adult books I've read. I'm not grabbed yet but it looks good. I'm still keeping the 3rd magicians book on hold because I'm just not into it. How is everyone else faring?

Well I took a break from the magicians and read hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy. This was for a prompt I made up "give an author a second chance" because I read the second in that series last year and didn't like it, but I knew it was unfair to judge a series on a middle book! I did enjoy this one better. How is everyone else doing this week?

Sorry I got distracted and forgot it was Monday yesterday lol no finishes for me again*sigh* I'm really stalling out on the third magicians book but for some reason I can't bring myself to quit!! I don't dislike it I'm just not that into it! Hope the rest of you are faring better :)

Mandy I've heard it reads like fanfic. I'll probably read it but I really want to see it performed.
