That's a big one to get finished though! Nice job :) the girl on the train is on my tbr and I've wanted to read flowers for algernon since I started it in 8th grade but never got to finish because the year ended (we had 20 min every morning and I think I started it with only a couple days left)

How was everyone's second week? I finished the book o was stuck on for book club (awful!) and it reinforced my resolve to not force myself to finish books I'm not enjoying this year. I put it in the "set in your home state" prompt even though I didn't choose that prompt initially. Also almost finished my "same profession" book (the laundry's cold and the beer's folded).

Scratch that, I'd rather add a prompt from the pop sugar one just in case i do end up completing in :) so I'm putting this book into "set in your home state.. Province for me!"

Hmmm I think I'll keep it open and see what comes up :)

Is anyone waffling on whether this has to be a driving road trip? I was thinking of it as that but then realized that it doesn't say that so maybe something like Wild could count...

I didn't even choose this category but I've added it because the first book I read for my book club fits here :) Barometer Rising, it was awful

It totally looks extra creepy!! Lol but fascinating to Me :)

Jill the book skipping Christmas has an accountant protagonist

Katherine, one of the protagonists in the novel You is an aspiring writer, I haven't read it but it looks really good and is on my tb.

Also we need to talk about Kevin which I HATED! But has a lot of love lol

Dear mr Henshaw is a kids book by Beverly clearly, the perks of being a wallflower and Bridget Jones' diary

Post your progress! It hasn't been quite a week yet but I know some have made progress already and I want to do Mondays just because. Personally I am stuck on a very boring book club book that I'm hoping to get finished very soon.

Time to get started! I look forward to seeing everyone's progress as we go along :)

Welcome Lor, Maria and Mom ;)

I'm adding one to my challenge "give an author a second chance" so a book by an author I've read but didn't like :) I think I'll go with the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy because I read the second in the series and I don't think skipping the first is really fair lol
http://print-cut-paste-craft.com/pops...A girl in my group for the 2015 challenge (renamed for the 2016 one) has created a printable list for the challenge. I asked her to create a blank printable so we can fill in our own prompts and she did. This link is to both, scroll past the popsugar list to the blank one.
