Can't believe August is half over!! How did people do this week?

How did you like it Katherine? I want to read but not sure if I'll buy it soon or wait until Christmas. Clare how did you like 13th tale? I read it a few years ago and liked it, but I found it pretty obviously a first novel for her because it was a bit clunky to me.

Wow I can't believe it's August! I had a better week. I finished the second book in the magicians trilogy and also So You've Been Publicly Shamed which was a great read! Hope everyone is having a great summer!

Another week!! How are we all doing? I'm still slowly getting through a couple of books but I keep going back and forth so haven't finished any.

Mandy I'm barely halfway, I probably will end up finishing. it's not looking great right now but all it'll take is a week or two when I am feeling it and I'll get through a couple books a week.

And I loved girl interrupted! I'm glad you liked it, it was a quick read too.

How the heck has it been another week?!! Omg! Lol so still nothing here! I may not make this goal unless I magically have MORE time to read with an infant here because apparently pregnancy means I have zero reading patience. Oy lol

Oops I'm late, sorry all yesterday got away from me! I'm almost done the second magicians book so no finishes but some progress. How's everyone doing? Easier or harder to find time to read now that summer is upon us?

That's fantastic Clare! I've read 14 which is on target, or close to, my halfway point. I hoped to read 30 and had chosen 20 prompts. My problem at this point is that I've done a lot off prompt so I need to start considering my prompts a bit more lol

Oops I'm late on this one. No finishes for me this week but we are halfway done! What's your progress for your full challenge? What do you have left to finish? Are you on track? I'll answer those in a comment below because I don't even have my list with me lol

First day of summer here yay!! I finished rereading The Magicians and it was so bizarre, it was like I had zero recollection of it. None of it rang a bell and it really hasn't been that long since I read it. Weird how that works I usually have good memory for books I've read.

I have to be in the right mood for non fiction. No this is my second, my son will be 2 in August :)

That's exciting Mandy! Those few weeks before the big day are definitely panicky and exciting! I have heard of miss peregrines but it wasn't on my list, I might have to put it there :) it sounds good.

No finishes but almost done book one of the magicians so I'll probably have 2 to report next week. Also week 26 in my pregnancy and starting to feel less like death so yay! Anyone else reading anything interesting? Any finishes? We'll have to do a check in for total progress soon, like how far we all are into our yearly goals!

Another week! No finishes here but I'm working on rereading the first in a series because I picked up the second one (the magicians) and realized I was totally lost lol I guess my brain didn't retain that book from about 5 years ago when I first read it! How's everyone else doing?
