Congrats Harini! Mine will be 2 in November. Everyone said I wouldn't have time to read, but I think for those of us that love it we make time. I agree audiobooks and Kindle are life savers as newborns. As they get older and you have to drive them around places, I like audiobooks. She doesn't need KidsBop, when she can have a cozy mystery lol

ahhh I see. The Listopia thread is missing 14 and 15. I see I see

So we now have 47 total?

Just to confirm, we now have 41 prompts? Want to make sure I'm not missing any on my list

Dalex, I don’t think it’s that people can’t find books. As you said there are thousands of options. I think they just don’t connect to the prompt. That’s how I am with the NPR list. I can find many books that fit and I liked NPR the first year it was suggested, but now I have prompt fatigue and would prefer something different. Even if it does have less options. I’m guessing prompt fatigue also plays into the celebrity book club suggestion because it is a prompt that’s especially popular with Popsugar, and I think we’ve done it here as well.

Sorry, I can’t remember if I hit submit on my voting form. I came back to the app and it showed the black voting page so now I’m confused. Could someone check whenever they get a chance. No rush.

Dalex, based on how you worded the prompt do you mean only middle-grade awards? Or can it be awards across genres/age groups and includes some middle age books?

That’s what I thought on first glance, but then it said Trouble. And I got a bit confused and suggestions were going too fast.
Maja, would love to hear more in the voting thread.

I’ll second Ludo just because I want to know what it’s about lol

Pam, I think you should still suggest it. There are always people that don’t read certain types of books, like the cost mystery prompt. But if no one suggested anything because of that we’d have no prompts!
Always worth suggesting and letting the votes decide.

Thanks dalex.

Oh I’m sure I can fit it in multiple places, was just thinking it might be perfect for middle grade.
I would prefer just a middle grade prompt instead of it being tied to an award, but I think the suggester probably already went off to bed.

I’m in London again, so thank you Thomas for the time conversion. I was just going to give up on suggestions this time.
Has Anne of green gables won any middle grade awards? I’ve never read or seen the books, but all the chatter this year makes me think I should.

I’d also say another interpretation for cozy mystery could be a mystery that takes you to a cozy spot. Maybe reading mysteries is a comfort or something you like doing with tea/hot cocoa/hot toddy or you like to curl up in your blankets.

I’m going back and doing old challenges, and found this
A book with an animal in the title

Ooh hopefully once the results are posted, we can know what they looked like yesterday to see the difference.

I've been walking around all day thinking it's Friday. So I am disappointed because I have to work tomorrow, but also relieved because I was worried something had happened to Emily because the results weren't posted.

I'm reading
Britt-Marie Was Here and I'm loving it so much!!
Nike, what is the opinion of Frederik Backman in Sweden? I'm obsessed but don't want to come off as weird to Swedes lol

Nooo I missed the leak. The suspense is even greater now! Can’t wait lol
