I love when connections like that happen! It can be kind of creepy when someone mentions something you have never heard of and it shows up in your book the next day!

Hmmm - interesting! One day we shall see!

The Poll for our next Big Read is posted - criteria is basically that it is on one of our lists and it is over 500 pages.
We already have a regular sized book (Turn of the Screw) for January.

My hope would be that before 2020, I can binge this through to the end!

This poll us up and ready for your vote! For December, I tried to pick the "Classic" classics: ones that everyone thinks about when they think "if I read these titles, I have read the classic of the genre", or "mandatory school reading", etc. Hopefully we can help some knock a long standing "To Read" book off their list! Also, showing up for the holidays with a leather bound copy of a famous classic will make you look super sophisticated!

I noticed the discussion above and I am confused. My edition doesn't appear to be divided into books - at least, it doesn't call the divisions books. It has 4 parts
- The Sword in the Stone
- The Queen if Air and Darkness
- The Ill-Made Knight
- The Candle in the Wind

The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay by Michael Chabon is the winner of the poll and we will be reading it this November!

I am having problems getting to my October Book Club Books . . . I am a bad book club leader this month! :)

:)
Yes - keep an eye on it an maybe throw your support towards one at the very end! :)
