. . . i love these casting suggestions-- in fact, i'm gonna send a link to the folks at crossroads so they can consider them! . . . i'm also curious to see if anything has become of kat denning's possible involvement . . .man, this stuff moves slowly . . . RA, thanks for the nice words about will-- great to have you back . . .and while i'm at it, apologies for my recent absence . . .all the life and death has put the screws to much my online time, to say nothing of my writing and reading time . . . the good news: I'M ORDERING THE KEG TOMORROW FOR THE DORK!!!! . . . i can't wait to hang with all you lovely friends in the flesh!!!
. . . hey p, i gotta say, good on you for being so open to critical feedback, it will serve you ever so well as a writer!
. . . thanks all on the kind words, which i've passed on to lauren, who is a great mom! . . . her labor was pretty long and intense, i think in large part due to exhaustion . . . not a lot of sleep this week for any of us with her dad dying . . . once the doc, started broaching the subject of c-section, she dug deeper and pushed the little bugger out . . . he's got really pretty hair with blonde and auburn and dark highlights . . . and i believe i already mentioned his formidable johnson (must be a recessive gene!) . . .

. . .she's resting . . . we've still got some hours ahead of us . . .
. . . i can pick you guys up from the ferry on the morning of the 28th . . .btw, lauren's water broke and i'm in the birthing room . . . we're only hors away!

Margaret wrote: "I'll mess with it a bit. just to figure it ut. It's still pretty neat though.". . . i think so to . . . i think the more input they get across the board, the more valuable a resource it could be . . .
Margaret wrote: "Ididn't get asked tthat. just is the spelling correct. weird.". . .yeah, that is wierd . . . for keith it asked me that, but for JPO it didn't . . . a little confusing . . .
. . .wierd, that i should be right by sam lipsyte, who blurbed my book . . . so, i;m gathering the system has more to do with reading proclivities than literary DNA, since when i enter in other ff authors it asks me who else i like . . .
. . . yeah, i think you're right, matt . . . it takes multiple suggestions, so if we are to put our fictionphiles "on the map" a few people are going to make suggestions . . .
. . .man, i wanna' get on this map . . . all the fiction files authors need to be on this map . . . when you punch in a name and it isn't there, it allows you to suggest an author . . . i'll go suggest ff autors if somebody else will suggest me . . .

. . . i've been thinking about bullies of humility a lot watching deadwood's e.b. farnum operate-- talk about a dickensian character!
