'atta boy, dan-o, way to take the high road . . . yeah, apologies to all about my absence in recent months. . . i've simply been overwhelmed with my workload, and spending every available moment with my boy, though this community is always on my mind, like a family you don't keep in touch with enough . . . i miss the discourse . . .

. . .okay, so i wanna' know who is in for next august, so i can get some kind of general idea about how many rooms we'll need, etc, as reservations will need to be made well in advance . . . and yes, shel and greg, you'll be the first to know when i come to your town!

. . .i'm thinking august, either at fort worden, or somewhere else i've yet to discover on the peninsula . . .i'll be touring on the east coast in the fall, and would love to have a meet up in NYC at that time, and i'll also be there in spring for BEA, so it's doubtful if i'd be able to make it east in summer, but if you guys decide you wanna' move the venue east, or add a second party, i say go for it . . .

. . . as soon as things slow down for me toward the end of the month, i'm going to start researching dork '10 . . .i gotta get an early start in order to get reservations . . . missing you guys, and longing for your company and a keg to ice obsessively!
