Wow we learn that Coffey has some type of magical power to restore someone ill and to fix the mouse. Amazing.

The death of that guy was shocking when they used water when they electrified him.

Did Coffey kill those girls? What's up with his hands? Why did he have the power to remove the urinary tract infection just by touching the guard?

My heart was ripped out at the end. So gross. Poor Mr. Jingles!

Mr. Jingles was so cute. Enjoyed reading about him. We also learn that the main character has a urinary tract infection which can be very painful. The book leaves on a cliff hanger making you want to read book 3.

I told my husband I was starting this series and he told me that I saw the movie with Tom Hanks in the 90's. I didn't remember it but as I'm reading part one I am starting to remember a little bit.

It's very heartbreaking what happened to the little girls and the dog.

Yes I finally finished this! It was okay. I watched the trailer for the movie and felt that my imagination didn't make the monsters so ugly. Will watch the movie this weekend. I. Will continue the series hoping it gets better along the way.

Some blood. I was expecting more since the girl I saw who was reading said it was bloody. It really wasn't much so far. Lot less than hunger games.

Glad they got Simon back but he's still a mouse. Up to chapter 15. Vampires and wolves. Next chapter should be good,

Very slow moving. Enjoyed the restaurant with the funky menu. The story about the bird and how the dad killed it was so evil.

Can't wait to read more! I bumped into a 7th grader who was reading this book. She was like on page 259 and I told her that the book so far for me is very slow and she told me to read on as it gets very bloody.

Wow this last chapter left on a cliffhanger. I'm going to try and focus on this book now. Need to finish it for january

What? He makes her drive the plane yet takes a nap while they are in the sky! This is so unrealistic!

This book draws me in and then I wonder. Some parts are very boring!

Not much happened here. Feel bad for that family who lost the 2 kids. Not sure I'm liking this book. It's kind of boring. But from the reviews it says it gets better so reading on.
