It did a funny name for the challenge, without changing it too much but I don't know how to take the fact new members registered with this name :p

2 last suggestions added in the 1st post.

The Lazarus Prophecy seems interesting, your opinion on it would help me to decide if I'll add it to my to read list or not ;)

(February recap is available here for those who joined later or missed it)
My list
The original Challenge:
10. a mystery or thriller: The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes ****
11. a book with a one-word title: Genesis *****
12. a book of short stories: Through the Woods ****
+ The Lottery and Other Stories ***
13. a book set in a different country: The Mango Season *****
16. a book from an author you love that you haven't read yet: I Shall Wear Midnight *****
32. a trilogy (the first): Theft of Swords ****
Side-reads
Books:
Ravage **
The Time Machine ****
Scarlet and the Keepers of Light ****
P.O.W.ER ****
Short free stories:
During the Dance *****
Select Mode ****
Greener Grass ****
The Axe ****
This Chance Planet: A Tor.Com Original ****
I'm starting to move side-reads in the challenge as I want free time at the end of the year to read some choice award books, so I'll do a bit of out of order. This month doing this was helpful as I had to change my one word book because it was bad and 2 other weeks were not really entertaining.
I decided to read some free short stories on weekends, so I didn't read my usual graphic novels :)

I like the giants one but maybe people will be afraid the group reads only doorstop books and it won't be very efficient in a group search.
Thanks for all the ideas :)
I'll update the 1st post with the suggestions.

The Mango Season
What was your destination?
India!
Did you enjoy the book? Would you recommend it?
Yes, I liked the colorful characters, the family was horrible and very narrow minded so it was pretty easy to understand the main character. It was a good insight on indian traditions (arranged wedding mostly).
This type of story is not my usual cup of tea but it was fun and easy to read, so yes, I'd recommend it, specially to people not too much in "people fiction".
Do you want to read more books happening in this country?
Yes. This one focused on wedding so I'd like reading more widen ones.

This discussion thread is solely for your progress (book discussions go in individual threads).
