Book: Empire of ShadowsTask: recommended by a friend
How it fits: I can't remember who recommended this, but I read it!
I put on the sheet for L, since I have a book due soon so I should actually read it instead of asking the staff to do a special renewal again. (I try to be good lol.) But if anyone else needs it, go ahead and take it!
Yep, I'm cool with that! I was planning to leave T and either R or S. Or we can swap around if other letters are needed. :)
Oh duh, I'm an idiot; I do have a V I can prioritize... Richard, do you want me to grab one of those since we have two? Or are those easier letters for you to find?
No worries, Richard; it's a thing... I have to do that every time too. :) Grabbed an E while I was in the spreadsheet! Yay!! Gonna check later if there's another hard letter I can help with, but I don't think I have any Vs at the moment. I have some Ls I've been putting off, but that's not that hard of a letter.
I'm honestly hoping our next spellout has an E or J, because that will be super quick for me to knock off for us. I'm not a fan of vowels unless it's an A lol. I think my next book is gonna be MB and something for series, but it might be MV something because I'm a compulsive mood reader. And it might be something totally different too, because I also perpetually have library books due, and sometimes I need the nudge to prioritize something from that stack lol.On the total bright side, I don't have a book club book this month because I read it when it first came out, so I just have to look up a synopsis to reacquaint with character names! :)
Super happy we're getting a new spellout, as I have an EJBR book rn, so some random letters that will hopefully help out! 🤞

Yeah, I for sure like the flexibility with this challenge. I just don't know how the challenge length makes sense for people with different reading speeds. I'm sure Fi is probably sitting in here like omg, more books??? Unless there are more lines than we need in the spreadsheet (and hopefully we don't need more, that just hit my brain), this was designed for a 7bpm minimum, so without having teammates cover for each other as necessary, I'm not sure how this is designed to be completed. Maybe in June Ashley will give us a bonus like she did with the last set of genres, allowing more options. Dunno. I just feel a little weird in team challenges because I'm trying to be supportive, but sometimes I don't know whether to cheerlead or stfu lol. And apparently it's my personality type to keep piling load on myself to make everyone else's lives a little easier. I do this at work too; I'm getting better about saying no because I would legit be doing every executive's job otherwise, but yeah...
Prompt # / Name: 32: Coca-ColaBook: His Orphaned Bride
Author: Stella Clark
Date Read: 5/12
Pages: 159
Task: Read a book you were willing to pay for
How it Fits: bought it used at my library's bookstore
You're welcome, Anna! :) Truth be told, since I am our designated poster, I also wanted to make my life easier. ;) I hope we can catch the Roller Coasters. I can't believe we're half done with this challenge already! I'm not sure we will be able to get through everything though; it's 9 more books each minimum after the tasks we already have.
I have to help almost the entire company I work for with spreadsheets, so between the template that another team shared, plus Fi's colors because I can't do the pretty stuff lol, yep, trying to make it as easy as possible. I like writing formulas, and I'm good enough at html to figure out the formatting. :)
I'm kinda hoping we are one of the first three teams to finish. We can use the points since the Roller Coasters are running away with this lol.
Ah, glad I mentioned it then! Yes, not sure why it's different for this event, but I set up the spreadsheet to assist with that post setup and tracking for everyone. :)
