Hehe, probably. ;) I'm gonna be happy getting half the prompts, tbh. These are rough, and I can't even think of anything nonfiction I have that works... 😳
Dang. I switched to a book that fits a day-only challenge today, so getting through that. Not a Romance though. ;) Hehe, I've given up planning books this month, and I'm just mood/challenge reading. I have some prompts this month too that I'm like, say what...???
Okay Anna! Lmk if you burn out after the first one and need me to grab the second. ;) I know, favorite genres never burn out, but sometimes you just need a palette cleanser. :)
Awesome, Fi! :) And remember the offer is always open: if you finish a book that would work for this challenge, but the letter/word has been claimed, hit us up! I want to make sure we're being efficient with your books. :)
Hi Fi, just checking in on this week's book for you! I want to make sure we can use books you're reading for any other challenges as much as possible, so please let us know if any of us need to pivot or shift around our completions. :)
Oh no, Richard, I literally just dreamed about this lol. Most of those genres are usually fiction, but I was thinking you might find a biography about someone famous for their relationships, like Henry VIII or Elizabeth Taylor, and that might have a Romance MPG...I can read multiple books for this genre category, since pretty sure the one I'm in is, and then I can grab another after my Roulette book. :)
Prompt Name / #: Thrillers #27Book: Forest of Scarlet
Author: Tara Grayce
Date Read: 5/9
Pages: 368
Task: Read a book where the MC is "battling some serious demons."
How it Fits: very literal interpretation, as the FMC is battling cruel fae who are stealing and torturing humans, including for anticipated blood rituals, as well are "normal" monsters like harpies, wolves, hydras, chimeras...

I'm into my parallel realms book, so just have to read 300 more pages... I miss this author's novellas lol. GR did me dirty though, and a novella omnibus is out of reading order. So I've requested that from the library, and then I'll decide if it's shorter to read for genre or not. :P
I found my win/lose book in the first three pages of a book I thought might work for parallel universes, so I set it aside for Monday! Starting a book that should also work for parallel universes.
Yeah, I'm trying to get out of my current book and into my genre book. So close! I thought I might finish last night but I fell asleep... I think I have to go with a thicker book for genre, since the shorter ones I have don't seem like they have the movement between universes, so going with the author I know who's done that before. I'm kinda scratching my head at the win/lose prompt; the short fantasies I have don't seem to have that theme, I got Serial Killer Games but there doesn't read like there's a game element. I may grab a short sports nonfiction lol.
Gah, I will check the next book I kinda need to read to see if it's parallel universe. I don't think it is though. But I have a few fantasies ATM that might work...
Oof, we get to choose... Eunice, to me it's up to you, if you feel like you have the time/energy/bandwidth to continue. :)
