Watching the answer for that ^ since the trope I have now has two prompts I don't have anything for, because I just don't read those kind of books.
I stretched prompts this month. Next month will be worse lol. I have a couple nonfiction that I want to get through. Maybe I'll grab some more biographies, but they have to fit the prompts, and therein lies the problem...
Yeah, I gave up on Fantasy too. I got a couple I think, but what I read in Fantasy didn't fit... So I just did what I could with it. Next month in that challenge is nonfiction, and I feel like I can't catch a break lol. And the prompts are hard... I have a short vacation next month, so we'll see how that goes lol.
Yeah, I feel like we were at April 10 and the month was lasting forever. And suddenly it's over lol. I've finally got a mystery that's got an MPG; this is what I get for liking obscure books lol...

I'm with you, Char. Nonfiction and I are not friends; I'm planning to use that for the quarterly challenge lol, since I read most fiction genres at a higher rate, although I might be able to lean into the sci-fi genre a bit, since I don't read too much there, but it's still more than nonfiction. I do have a biography I want to read though, and I think my book club book might be considered narrative nonfiction. I usually read like four nonfiction a year, and I've already read at least three. I always procrastinate them too, because I just don't enjoy them. I'm hoping there are either short books or fiction books that fit the tasks.

Hi Anna, sounds amazing!! I've seen the Grand Canyon, but not Red Rocks. No worries on the books. I almost never read on vacation, unless it's visiting family and I know there will be downtime because it's chill. But that's rare for me. I'm feeling the pressure of books needing to get read for various reasons too, but I also have so much stuff planned this weekend lol. So we'll see how everything goes...
Yay, I actually had no idea where anyone was placing for this challenge lol. How many teams are there? I have more nonfiction lined up for the bonus challenge next month and maybe also month after, depends on how soon my friend wants her book back lol.
