Also, I think Rogue Protocol will count for BR in Snowball Wars for Tier 3 since Lisa is a mod and she's one of the leaders? I'm gonna count it like that and if it gets removed, oh well, I thought I was doing the right thing lol.
Just finished. Those first chapter(s?) felt like throwaways. No bearing on the plot except to illustrate how much Murderbot hates humans?? It was hard to stay engaged through that. Once Murderbot decided (view spoiler), things picked up and was back to previous vibes.It isn't always totally clear what Murderbot is searching for: it's a very generic premise like "I'm going to find evidence". Well, what are you looking for, finding, and understanding as pertinent?? It's like the worst mystery ever in that regard; I know that isn't an MPG but it's weird to dangle that in front of the reader without any additional information.

I'm still curious about the series, but it's definitely waning. I believe there's one more short book before the chonker. So I'll probably try that one for sure, but not sure if I'll care about taking on the long book.
Finished Rogue Protocol. Thank goodness for full cast audio lol. Except keeping track of the names is a bit miserable. Now I just have to finish the book I cannot keep traction in...

This year I haven't really known in advance if a book worked for a prompt, so I might be more of a pile of possibilities than a plan, and that might get thrown out the window at times depending on my mood lol. 😂
