Oh, I didn't think about introspection in that regard. Yeah, I'm horrid at literary fiction. A book club I'm in is reading Yellowface, and that's about as introspective as I get with books, and I've already read it so I was partying for not having to read for BC this month lol.

Wow, what a nice trip, Claire! I hope you're having a good time!! No worries, I'm taking a long weekend out of town, and I won't be reading hardly anything either, so completely understandable.

I've been reading a lot of YA this month, so the good news is I should have some left over for June. But then actually fitting prompts? Godspeed lol! 🫡 I'm just gonna have to see what shakes out and can be stretched to work...

Food was turned in a while ago, so keep track of books completed just in case they work when we get new words!

Thanks Fi, great job! That was a fast turnaround on the book! :) Since we'd thrown the event book in last week, I wasn't expecting another one till later, but wanted to check.

And fyi for everyone, I will be out of town Thursday thru Sunday, so I may be slower getting completions checked in, if we have any.

How are we doing, friends? May is on the downhill slope now. :) I have two prompts left, but I don't know that I'm going to find something for them, even stretching the prompts as thin as they can get, since they're just not in genres I gravitate towards.

No worries! It's different from normal which was why I had the checkbox tracker on the spreadsheet. Because I would absolutely be the first person to forget... Not proud of my short term memory, but it is what it is...

Teresa, okay, it was my understanding we could double up, but the question arose on our team, so I wanted to make sure I'd interpreted correctly. :)

Okay, I think that should be fine. If we have to wait for June in order to get you reading more letter books, I think that will be fine.

Yeah, I feel you on that. A lot of times I try to do only non-competitive challenges since then I'm just competing against myself. I have gotten more into team challenges since I started reading a lot more, but I used to avoid them when I was starting to get into challenges.
