139735 Fi, can your picaresque book be doubled up with the Food category? If not, I'll drop the A or T in the new ride spellout so we can double up there. :)

139735 Richard, if it's just Kindle books though, I'd never get anything read. I have enough physical books that I don't even think about ebooks at this point, and they get deprioritized. :/

Oh, Fi, yeah, if you're heading to a slump, definitely go for short and easy! Novellas in whatever genre you like!! Even kids books as long as they're chapter books and over 200 pages. Legit, my nonfiction is right at 200 pages, so bare minimum but it's gonna get in. My go-to when I need an easy book is YA clean romantasy. I actually am stocking up from the library again on a series, since I can read those in like 4-6 hours as they're in the 180 page range. Just quick bites as a palette cleanser and to not always have big books where I'm stuck in a world I may not be enjoying at the moment. I am such a mood reader, since I will swap books up and down in the stack, and I just have goal books as I'm feeling them.
139735 Oh, that's how I missed it. I read physical primarily, not Kindle. :( Legit, I've read maybe a handful of ebooks this year. It's bad...
139735 Tudor challenge? Where and what is that? I do love me some Tudor drama lol. Are you planning any Philippa Gregory, or sticking totally with nonfiction?
139735 Okay, we're checked in, so start banking books for letters. :) If we get an appropriate ride name, I am absolutely putting on Winter by Marissa Meyer. Bless that chunker lol. I have have a couple Dungeon Crawler Carl books, and they're sizeable, so I'll try to plan those in as well, fingers crossed. Since we're getting near the end (three weeks left), I'm gonna plan my chunky books for higher points. (Pray for me lol...)

Fi, are you able to do short books? I'm not totally sure your reading preferences, but if we can get two 150 page books a week instead of a 300 page book a week, it would help us get through most/all the prompts? For your one book per, there are seven books left (assuming doubling up picaresque with another category, which is allowed this time), with one being the nonfiction; or five books left (doubled up) if nonfiction is an impossibility since we won't get to the last genre without it. I'm not too worried about points off that page count, since unlocking more prompts lets Richard log more books, and he can read some unbelievably chonky books (I'm still in shock), so at this point, book completions are what we would need most.

139735 I've gotten better with it, but there was a challenge a couple months ago where it really bit me. I still feel badly for making my teammates have to message me because I wasn't answering. :P
