In the Captain group, where it said to ask for spins. Is there another spot it should have been in? No one seems to have responded yet, since we should see the task added to the spreadsheet. :/

Yeah, I'm not great at following complex world creation, so the cozy works for me like that. And I prefer no-spice in my books anyway, so cozy continues to work out lol.
Lmk if you try them, Char. Essentially no-spice fairy tale retellings. That's about how I can cope with Fantasy lol.
So valid. Godspeed on it! I planned to read it and Frankenstein, and Dracula freaked me out so I never got to Frankenstein lol.
Char, I legit had to go to Romantasy for that one. The series I used has some great books in it. Bluebeard and the Outlaw would work great for that, and some others in the series probably would as well (the Arabian Nights retelling); I'd say read the descriptions to see how much magic there is, since some didn't have as much magic to them. Another series (Sacrificed Hearts I think) was also good. I think the only one in that series I wouldn't recommend is Labyrinth of [don't recall, but it will be obvious which book I mean] just because it dragged on for me. Assassin was really good. These are a lot of indie authors though, so not sure how available the books would be; hopefully KU. My library system is good at having indie books, so I found physical copies there.
Finished my three books. I wasn't sure if this was a Tier 1 or Tier 3 buddy read, since Ashley is a mod. So feel free to change that on my line as needed, since I put Tier 1 to be safe.
I finished yesterday. It was a 3.5* read for me. I had a hard time feeling empathy for Murderbot, based on his social interactions and some of his work ethic, even though he really stepped up when needed. (view spoiler)I will probably try the second book in the series, just to see how it is, but idk that it will be a top priority.

Hi Jayme, checking how you're doing? Have you recovered from the late night? I'm super sluggish today after getting home after midnight... :)
Hi everyone, I'm back home, although I want to go back to bed. It feels way too early right now... I have a book to log, so I'll get that done hopefully sometime today. I can't believe we did three (?) turns while I was gone; that's so cool!! I'll be getting back into a more normal reading mode, maybe tonight or tomorrow; I have a bunch of errands pending lol.Richard, take the space you need! Self care is always more important than reading or challenges or almost anything, really. I hope you are better soon!!
Beth, wow, I've heard those are painful! Be sure you do all the physical therapy!!! That surgery is common in my extended family, and the one thing they all say is that the therapy sucks but it's completely necessary so that the knee doesn't revert. Not sure how reversion is possible since it's a replacement, but one of my aunts wants to get her replacement replaced because it hurts because she didn't do all the therapy.
