Hello! This is a general folder for queries or conversations about our family of four reading themes generally. If there were a question or note about a particular one, it could go in that general folder for 2019. This is a spot for comments that don't belong to a particular one.

Do you need guidance about signing-up? All you have to do to sign-up, is add yourself to the buttons on each challenge page at my blog. When it asks for a webpage, making a blog post for each is ideal because it helps advertize us to your followers. However, if you do not have a blog: please make a Goodreads folder for each theme you are joining. Add the website links of the folders (also called "URLs") to each sign-up button. I know which ones you have joined when I see your names there!

Don't hesitate to chat via blog comment boxes, or here. I do not use Goodreads private message mailboxes but will certainly follow conversations in this companion group, at my blog, and by e-mail. I look forward to reading with you all! Your hostess, Carolyn.

Would you like an idea of how easy Gentle Spectrums categories are to fulfill? Here is my finished 2018 list, with reviews! Books may match a category via words in the title, or be a match via the book's major subject. You succeed either way.

For example, in "The Arts", I used Gabrielle Roy's title "The Tin Flute"; even though her novel is not about music. In reverse, I used Thomas Kinkade's "The Garden Of Friendship"; even though this title contains no words about the arts. It qualifies by being an artbook. https://cmriedel.wordpress.com/2018/0...

Sheri, a friend at Goodreads, solved our annual mystery riddle logo, even though she was not a registered guest. She is now! I am happy to see veteran and new faces, return to my variety of four groups already, in these first days of posting them; which bodes well for additional members.

Just use the comment box of the "My Kind Of Mystery" and "Ethereal" review pages for your corresponding blog links. You could repeat it in the wrap-up button at the respective review pages. When you get around to updating your personal list, the URL will be the same. :) I don't expect a book for book alphabet entry at the end of the year.

It is a lower reading year, spending a week on books instead of racing through them. I fall asleep after doing various things by day. However my version of "lower" exceeds 100. :) I e-mailed you a couple of letters over the months and hope you enjoyed them.
