It's nice that you are warming up the group, Leslie! It is very sweet, that you know some of my tendencies. :) I'm rolling with authors I already own but it's a fantastic example and my eye will certainly watch for him at sales.

I am thrilled by the possibility of reading jointly with my new peers and friends. :) Please be welcome to list what you'd like help or company, right here. My 'TBR' shelf is very small here on Goodreads because I use it to lay out titles I own, that I forsee reading this year. It is another nice way to look for matches among us. Do feel free to say if you too, have such a shelf.

I'll put one up right now for future reads. I look forward to seeing who owns what.

I have been introduced to the concept 'buddy-reading'. Last year I encountered a new friend, Margaret and other wonderful people pouring over the same novel. I wasn't part of the joint foray but felt it would be fun to join someone in a future novel; especially academic literature.

Why don't we begin to view one another's Goodreads folders to see what we have in common? List future titles for buddy-reading as individual threads, once you find someone up for an excursion. :)

Long in my collection and from 1955, published long before my birth; I at last finished "The Quicksilver Pool". This is a case where it's nothing like the synopsis advertises. If you scratch the idea of a gothic thriller: what you do find within the pages is a very wonderful experience!

Not giving up on sending around good cheer in March: here I am again. I would like to publicly wish A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my dear fiancé, Ron! Now I'd better get back to cleaning house and see what the cats are doing, too. Heeheehee.

Happy St. Patrick's day, from a descendent in prairie Canada! Top of the morning, on this fine day of my heritage! My family has Patricks and we love to celebrate. Green is a fresh, hopeful, bright colour. My parents sent a card last week. I have a present for them that my fiancé, Ron is delivering from me in the city. I wish everybody blessings, health, good fun, and luck!

I'm glad you're here too Sue! Worry not, this isn't a duplicate. I ask everyone to sign-up at the blog linky buttons regardless. This is a companion to the "Gentle Spectrums" challenge. When I roll out prize activities; pictures are best put here. I'm in rural Manitoba on dial-up and they would bog my WordPress site down, whereas this is a separate spot from my Goodreads profile. It works out as a nice place to communicate too.

Go figure you were a slam dunk for colours and surprised me by hopping aboard the word games! A friend motorcycled through Utah years ago and said it was the cleanest, most courteous camp site he ever experienced. People take care of those towns very well.

I hope you like the review pages for all three groups. "My Kind Of Mystery" goes by author last name, "Gentle Spectrums" is obivous, and "Ethereal" is divided into enchanting topics. :) We'll all have fun filling the review buttons with our imaginary journeys. You may use the same title for 'quintupled'. It's a different game.

Nina, I would love to read that! Please add it to this group's bookshelf. If it's in English somewhere, I'll find it. I love work from the 1970s and beyond!!!! Also if you are glad to remove "White Thirst" from your shelf, I bet you'll use it for "Guilty Reads". Lord knows I have many candidates for your returning theme.

On the anniversary of my blog, I like to share the first post I wrote; an issue very upsetting at the time, I wanted voiced. It got a dearly happy ending. Very often, friendships are made when we wander out from the original subjects that brought us together. Books are the starting point to happy conversations about many other things. Post miscellaneous observations here. :)
