125611 I'm glad you're here too Sue! Worry not, this isn't a duplicate. I ask everyone to sign-up at the blog linky buttons regardless. This is a companion to the "Gentle Spectrums" challenge. When I roll out prize activities; pictures are best put here. I'm in rural Manitoba on dial-up and they would bog my WordPress site down, whereas this is a separate spot from my Goodreads profile. It works out as a nice place to communicate too.

Go figure you were a slam dunk for colours and surprised me by hopping aboard the word games! A friend motorcycled through Utah years ago and said it was the cleanest, most courteous camp site he ever experienced. People take care of those towns very well.

125611 Have a peek: I left a message to alert members of all 3 groups that contest activities will begin soon! Watch my blog for new posts, or re-visit the main pages; where fresh information will be reflected. This is about all the warning I can give - following along is up to y'all! :)

125611 HAPPY ST. VALENTINE'S DAY to all of the wonderful members of our groups, present and growing!

125611 I hope you like the review pages for all three groups. "My Kind Of Mystery" goes by author last name, "Gentle Spectrums" is obivous, and "Ethereal" is divided into enchanting topics. :) We'll all have fun filling the review buttons with our imaginary journeys. You may use the same title for 'quintupled'. It's a different game.

125611 Nina, I would love to read that! Please add it to this group's bookshelf. If it's in English somewhere, I'll find it. I love work from the 1970s and beyond!!!! Also if you are glad to remove "White Thirst" from your shelf, I bet you'll use it for "Guilty Reads". Lord knows I have many candidates for your returning theme.

125611 On the anniversary of my blog, I like to share the first post I wrote; an issue very upsetting at the time, I wanted voiced. It got a dearly happy ending. Every one of those kittens is a vibrant, adult, member in my family today. Happy third blog anniversary to us. Carolyn! :) http://cmriedel.wordpress.com/2011/02...

125611 Thanks to our early bird, Joanne: our "Gentle Spectrums" review page is live, up, and away! http://cmriedel.wordpress.com/gentle-...

125611 My update at "RIEDEL Fascination" lists the main points about all three groups, that have just launched yesterday. :) Here we go! http://cmriedel.wordpress.com/2014/02...

125611 Very often, friendships are made when we wander out from the original subjects that brought us together. Books are the starting point to happy conversations about many other things. Post miscellaneous observations here. :)

125611 Please feel comfortable posing any questions about my challenges. If there is news about them, or we wish to reach the whole group about anything, here's the place to ensure we find it.

If members would like to share personal news, it's welcome here.
Additionally, you may build your own challenge threads. Discuss whatever you like within.

125611 With films, books, and especially music; it's the release year I love to see. Here are my ideas. The first, a Canadian youth adventure, I'm presently reading. I bet I could do all greens!

“The Cold Blue Blood” David Handler, 2001
“The Secret Of Red Gate Farm” Mildred A. Wirt, 1931
“Mystery Of The Golden Horn” Phyllis A. Whitney, 1962
“Gunpowder Green” Laura Childs, 2002
“The Man In The Brown Suit” Agatha Christie, 1924
“The Witch Of Blackbird Pond” Elizabeth George Speare, 1958
“The Black-Eyed Stranger” Charlotte Armstrong, 1951
“The Pink Hot Farmhouse” David Handler, 2002
“Grey Stones” Antonia Lamb, 1966

125611 We need more people in "Ethereal". The contests I have in mind will be amazing. I edited the Wordpress description to clarify. Anthologies, novels with 'vampires / zombies / werewolves' are okay *IF* there's a ghost or more ethereal things. We don't want to lose those ghosts, heeheehee! I don't see Laurel linked at Wordpress yet but I'll definitely smile when I do.

125611 Invite her, Nina (scary as her reading is - eek)! Tell your colleagues I invite reading/reviewing in any language you wish. Multilingualism is important to me.

Laurel, you made it! :) Thank you and I can't wait to see where you're signed-up at Wordpress! You cheerful ladies are bringing wonderful vibes already. Hugs!

125611 I was seeing if it had anything to do with plants or ethnicity. All of my groups are very flexible. But I understand about those two. What year are you in?
Jan 31, 2014 12:44PM

125611 I *want* manuals in my groups. That's why they're different. What's the approximate English title of those two? When you see how many books are in my house, you'll know that I have to read them too!
Jan 31, 2014 11:53AM

125611 Thanks for stepping through the door first, Nina! What are your textbooks about? They might fit the "gentle subjects" or even "ethereal", which includes alternative healing and miracles. :)
Jan 30, 2014 06:38PM

125611 I'm thrilled you're launching my first challenge with me! Sign-up a Goodreads profile, or other public website at the originating blog. Then please enjoy this group to introduce yourselves, discuss books, and acquaint each other. Veering off topic is fine, if it leads to friendships and great conversations. Yours Truly, Carolyn. http://cmriedel.wordpress.com/gentle-...

125611 Share your ideas for titles that suit our ten "Gentle Subjects"! My list is at the home blog. http://cmriedel.wordpress.com/gentle-...

125611 I welcome your "Limitless Pallet" ideas. Go ahead and repeat colours, because a different book is a different book! Mine are at the home blog. http://cmriedel.wordpress.com/gentle-...
