I was thrilled to find precious and even older teddy bears and dolls when I cleaned out my parent's home to ensure we had all personal belongings. As I have written in many reviews, explaining the recent wave of children's literature, I have kept my things with me for years. I did not know there was more, stored way back in places not easy to see. Teddy bears and dolls I could not have seen in 35 years, probably because Mom didn't unpack them when we bought our one and only house.... I recognized them right away! It is a time capsule in which I am deriving tremendous pleasure. I suddenly knew how important those faces were and have baby pictures of me with some.I pray for the people, animals, and their homes and belongings in California. After the forest fires were mud slides. Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey, whose homes are safe but some neighbours' houses weren't, explained mud slides are more dangerous than it sounds to people who haven't seen them. I am grateful about my lifelong belongings whenever I hear of anyone in need. When I lived in the city, I donated a lot of clothes, books, and knickknacks, to women's aboriginal shelters.

It's almost time to send you birthday mail anew. I have been awaiting reassurance that you received your Christmas mail! I'd like to clarify where you receive it. Parcels go to your porch? Do envelopes go somewhere else and that is why you don't check daily? Your Mom shares it, or looks at it on your behalf? If it wasn't in your mailbox, please ask if she parked it at her house or yours. I must be one or the other. I would like you to have your card and Phyllis A. Whitney book. It was mailed a little before Christmas, so that it would slightly late. Xoxo.
