The Amateur

I watched this series. I had read the book a few years ago, but didn't remember it so I read the book along with the series. Sectioned the book into 8 sections, read one each before each episode in the series.

Each was ok - not great. I have finished the series and think the twist at the end of episode 7 was probably the best part of the whole series.

I see that this one is not only showing on AMC+ but is now also on Hulu.

Anyone following this lawsuit?

This has finally gone to Peacock. It can be bought or rented on Prime, but free with a Peacock subscription.

Not yet watched in this house.

I gave in and put Peacock back in. There are a few shows that I want to see, but will probably switch it out for WNBA in May when that starts again.

But I did watch Conclave - without having read the book. Altho I had the book in my hands twice I did not get it read before I head to return it to the library. So I can't say how close the movie followed the book, but I can say that I did enjoy the movie. Especially the twist at the end.

My plan was to work in this group again tonight, but I am in the track for a really bad storm in about 30 minutes - winds are totaling 93 mph, so dangerous. I am shutting off my computer for safety sake.

Nicole Kidman Reunites With 'Big Little Lies' & 'Nine Perfect Strangers' Author for TV Adaptation of Mystery Thriller 'Here One Moment'!

Nicole Kidman is taking on a new project!

The 57-year-old Babygirl actress is working on a series adaptation of Liane Moriarty‘s new novel Here One Moment.

The project reunites her with Liane after their collaboration on HBO’s acclaimed Big Little Lies, Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers and the upcoming Australian series The Last Anniversary, via Deadline.

The mystery thriller was published last month by Crown Publishing, and sees passengers on a plane journey later succumb to the clairvoyant predictions of a mysterious passenger known as “The Death Lady.”

The official synopsis, via Deadline: “Aside from a delay, there will be no problems. The flight will be smooth, it will land safely. Everyone who gets on the plane will get off. But almost all of them will be forever changed. Because on this ordinary, short, domestic flight, something extraordinary happens. People learn how and when they are going to die from ‘The Death Lady.’ Not a single passenger or crew member will later recall noticing her board the plane. A few months later, one passenger dies exactly as she predicted. Then two more passengers die, again, as she said they would. If you were told you only had a certain amount of time left to live, would you do things differently? Would you try to dodge your destiny?”

There’s “a good chance” Nicole will star in the adaptation, as she did in Big Little Lies, Nine Perfect Strangers and The Last Anniversary, according to the report.

“I’m so happy for the ongoing partnership with Liane and so grateful to count her amongst my closest friends and collaborators,” Nicole said.

Ok Goodreads has me at a stop! They only let moderators start so many new threads in an hour or a day and right now I have two additional new ones ready to add and Goodreads has me at stop. This years season seemed to really fly by. Nothing has been said, that I can find, about a 6th season, but with an 8.6 out of 10 rating, I believe that we will be honored with a 6th season. When I hear I will holler.
