I watched the first tow episodes Karen, but have never gone back. It was just so so in my opinion. Obviously not good enough to draw me back for a third viewing. Sad too, cause the book was good and I like Lippman.

I'm not a great fan of reading romances, so I probably won't read this one, but I may watch it. Lately I haven't really liked much of what Kidman has been in, but she is in so much it is hard to exclude watching her. Maybe this one will be more like her older (read that as 'good') material. 😏

The Inheritance Games Adaptation Timeline:
The first book in the series was published in September 2020, but the bidding war for the screen rights happened much earlier in the year. It was announced in March 2020, six months before release, that Amazon and Sony Pictures TV had won the rights and would be making The Inheritance Games adaptation into a series. There has been no further news on the adaptation since then.
However the second book in the series was released in September 2021, and the third book in the series was released in August 2022. The fourth book came out in August 2023.
Who Owns The Rights:
Sony Pictures TV and Osprey Productions teamed up to land the rights in the bidding war. They have partnered with Amazon Studios for distribution of the series. Which means a series would come out on Prime

There are currently no actors, directors, or screenwriters publicly attached to the series.

The highly anticipated book was released in August 2022, closing out the Mick Riva universe. In March 2023 it was was announced that the bidding war had been completed with Picturestart ending up with the rights for an adaptation.
During the WGA/SAG-AFTRA strike, author Taylor Jenkins Reid mentioned in her newsletter that work on all of her in development projects had stopped, including work on a script for Carrie Soto.
Who Owns The Rights:
Picturestart won the rights to the novel in a bidding war.

As of 2023 there have been no casting announcements or names attached to the film.

Shortly before the book was released Hulu bought the series rights. The book was then released in June 2021 and immediately hit the New York Times Best Seller List. There have been no further updates, however with multiple other books in various stages of production, waiting might be an intentional choice.
In her July 2023 newsletter, Taylor Jenkins Reid confirmed that work on all of her adaptations had been stopped because of the dual WGA/SAG-AFTRA strike.

Red Queen Adaptation Timeline:
The book was first published in 2015. That same year Universal picked up the rights for a Red Queen adaptation feature film. Elizabeth Banks was attached to direct and produce. After no updates for many years, in May 2021 it was announced that the project had moved to Peacock for a series adaptation, with Banks still attached. In an Instagram live to promote a new book in spring 2022, Victoria Aveyard updated fans saying that while it was not at the casting stage yet work was being done on the scripts and production was moving forward. In early 2023 both Elizabeth Banks and Victoria Aveyard mentioned that work was still being done on the script.
Work on the project was stopped in Summer 2023 when the Writer’s Guild and SAG-AFTRA went on strike.
Who Owns The Rights:
Universal Television and Peacock have the series production and distribution rights.
Who Is Attached:
Elizabeth Banks is set to direct and have a supporting role. No other casting has occurred.

The book was first published in May 2017. A few months later in August it was announced that Amy Pascal and her production company had purchased the film rights and that Tom Holland was attached to the lead role. There has been no news or updates since then.

This article is older - from 2023 - so I will start to scout out what is happening with each of her 5 books and see where they stand. I tried 3 times to put the book and upcoming series Neuromancer by William Gibson in this Upcoming Goodies and Goodreads evidently will not allow it. All 3 times it just disappeared. However I was able to get it in Small Talk - please go see it there. I will update as I find out more information.

There is no set release date yet but based on the expected filming window the series will probably premiere in late 2025 or 2026.
