I found that I had started Magpie Murders at one time, but I remembered nothing about it, so I restarted them and binge watched them all on Saturday. I am not a great fan of British mysteries, however I have liked a few of them, and I found Magpie Murders to be acceptable. So I am ready for Moonflower Murders when it start next week.

I know there will be 9 episodes and it will be a TV series - however no idea when it will start nor what station it will be shown on.
This will star a number of Norwegian actors - and be filmed in Oslo, Norway so this may not be in English but shown with subtitles. However there is some indication that a Canadian series will be shown in English - so there is a chance.

Rated PG-13 for thematic material involving racism, some strong language including racial slurs, violent content and smoking.
I cannot find where this will go to streaming, however Colson's Underground Railroad ended up on Prime - so would not be surprised to see this go to Prime streaming services after the theater opening.

I saw today where this will be a TV series, altho no mention of what TV channel or streaming service.
The same company is producing Wild Wood, so this one will not come out before that one.

A bit more on IMDb ~~This will release in 2025, staring Maggie Q, Victoria Moroles and John Carol Lynch, and will have 10 episodes, but not yet saying what streaming channel. However prior Bosch series have been on Prime - so it should be a good prediction that this one will be on Prime also.
Crime drama ~~ LAPD Detective Renee Ballard oversees a new cold case division in the department.
This one is a bit hard to distinguish.
The facts that I know ~~
It will be on PBS. It will start on September 15th. It is part of Anthony Horowitz Susan Ryeland series - book #2. It takes place in England in 1954.
Now what I still don't know ~~
Is it a one time movie? Is it a series - I do believe it is a series but no proof of that. Will it be billed as part of the Magpie Murders?

IMDb bills it as a series, but are they referring to Moonflower Murders or to Magpie Murders? Ahhhh - read below - it's starting to come together for me.
IMDB - I am beginning to see the connections - I think you are best off watching Magpie Murders FIRST. It is the 6 episode - 45 min each - 2022 PBS series that start the Horowitz Susan Ryeland series.

after watching book #1, the Magpie Murders 6 episode series from 2022, then it goes to book #2 Moonflower Murders - which should be the conclusion of the series due to start on Sept 15, 2024.

Altho IMDb only has one episode showing - now - I do believe that Moonflower Murders will probably be like Magpie Murders and be a 6 episode, 45 min each, series. Both being PBS Masterpiece Mystery Theater showings.

This one I haven't ever heard of Trisha. Book or series. Blah another Kidman! I have not been happy with anything she has done for the last few years, but that doesn't prevent me from posting a new series. However it is very late tonight and I am only on to shut down so I can go to bed. I will post this tomorrow, for sure.
