Ha! Nice choice for dysfunctional family!

I finished Order a while back, and I think I actually enjoyed it more this time around. Maybe because I knew it was going to be angsty and was braced for it. I did wish that people would just tell Harry what was going on, but understand why they didn't (I guess). And I also noticed that Sirius was really bitter and grumpy - not the idealized Sirius that I had in my memory.

I haven't started Half-Blood Prince yet.

I took a look at your to-read shelf, and saw that you have Lost Among the Living and The Lake House on it. Those both have a family theme.

That's what I was planning to do, Sonia. Books that I keep pushing off when I get distracted by other more shiny books.

October is our month for Eastern Europe. Learn more about Stalin's part in WWII, and follow a Lithuanian family as they are sent to a work camp in Siberia in Between Shades of Gray.

This month's non-fiction book is The Happiness Project: Or Why I Spent a Year Trying to Sing in the Morning, Clean My Closets, Fight Right, Read Aristotle, and Generally Have More Fun.
