118012 Personally, I’ve continued with the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher all month. Earlier in the month, I read Turn Coat #11 and Changes #12, which bring the story arc to a close of sorts and made me want to review details from earlier books so I started the series over with Storm Front, Fool Moon, Grave Peril, and, currently, Summer Knight. It’s a highly entertains series that keeps me listening but doesn’t require more brain cells than I have to spare at the moment.

I also listened to Carmilla with David Tenant which was deliciously creepy. And Out of Body, a sweet, romantic m/m story with a lovesick ghost, a little demonic possession, and a clever plot device.

I hope everyone had as much literary fun as I did this month. 🎃

118012 Trisha-
I really enjoyed Hallow’een Party, too. It’s one of those that proves Dame Agatha really would go anywhere. The killer might be anyone... kids, kindly grannies, police inspectors, narrators, the innocent ingenue, helpful country doctors, young lovers, those that seem unfairly persecuted, those that seem fairly persecuted, the victims themselves... as might the victims.

Eileen-
Salem’s Lot was a great vampire tale! I read all of King’s older stuff back in the day. I agree that he has a compelling style. His book on writing is also quite good.

118012 I read another book in the Dresden Files. This one called Turncoat. It’s a great go-to series that has yet to disappoint.

If you scroll back a few messages there is a link to a Goodreads question section. We don’t have anything to do with how the site is set up. Hopefully, you will find what you need there.

118012 Lofty plans. I had lofty plans. But it’s all hot, steamy historical romance instead. 🙈🙉🙊
