I’ve also started East by West A Journey in the Recess, Volume 1 which is filled with dry & witty descriptions and observations on Lucy’s travel journeys.
Hysterically was supposed to be recently. Although my spell-correct May be commenting on my state of mind. My “travel plan” was originally to choose books in exotic locals, like Russia and India, etc. But all the books I chose are quite long so I’m going back to a traditional interpretation and gong with some straight up adventure stories. :)
I hysterically started The Mark Of Zorro. My plan to read across the globe is taking too long. Like 80 Days long!!!!
Technically a T. But if you get close to the end of the year without a K, you can totally slip it in. :) Although, I thought The Kiss Quotient was adorable.
I’m at 81% which is amazing after last year. I’m not going to increase my goal though. I like the feeling of being ahead for awhile. PS. Hi, Holly!!! So happy to see you! You’ve been missed. <3
If you decide to do that and want to post here I’d be happy to proffer encouragement and chat about the story as you go. :)
Eileen-It really helped me to plan it over the course of a year. One chapter a day. Otherwise some of Hugo’s digressions might have bogged me down.
