118012 I'll probably do about one book per month because I want to read other things, too.

118012 A few of us are planning to read (or reread) the Little House series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Any are welcome to join us.

118012 Okay! I'll set up a Buddy read for the series.

118012 Renee's January Total: 16 books
Number of books to date: 16 books

118012 This challenge is a little different and a throw-back to the origins of the Reading Challenge group.

Mission: Read 50 books this year.

Plan: Keep track of your books any way you wish (in the Personal Goal folder, for example), then update here each month with your total for the month and the year so far.

p.s. I have no plans to keep an overall group tally.

118012 Lol and Awww! Well, I guess I can't complain then. :D

118012 Once a theme is chosen for January, members may want to consider suggesting a Buddy Read for a book they plan to read that others might also enjoy.
118012 This topic can be located in the Group Read Archive.

118012 I'd be interested in the Little House series in 2017, Camille. Shall I set up a thread?

118012 Since most people have started playing Bookopoly in the 2017 Year-Long folder, I'm going to move this thread to the Challenge Archive.

118012 Level 3: Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!

I reread the first 10 books of the Aubrey-Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian. These books are just wonderful! Especially if you enjoy the Nineteenth Century. (Which, of course, I do.) ;-D

Master and Commander
Post Captain
H.M.S. Surprise
The Mauritius Command
Desolation Island
The Fortune of War
The Far Side of the World
The Surgeon's Mate
Treason's Harbour

I intend to read the last 10 books of the series for this challenge in 2017.

118012 Level 2: Pour the Milk!
I read the 5 books Janet Evanovich has published so far in the Fox and O'Hare series. Very cute! Lots of banter.

The Heist
The Chase
The Job
The Scam
The Pursuit
