1st time I've read this classic."

I keep meaning to read it but something always stops me. Have you read other Russian classics?

Will definitely check this out!

1176148 Finished my 13th book. Not sure if I will get to any more since I am behind on other challenges. I did hit my goal of 10 so I am happy with the outcome. Fantasy series pushed me over my goal.

1176148 Finally finished Itchiwan by J.J. Cunis . Ironically a horror book I should have picked for October instead of September. Interesting plot but did not hold my attention in the second half of the book. Three stars

Adding this to my TBR. This challenge has been a great way to expand my reading material.

1176148 What a great mix of books. I will definitely look for your reviews because I am not familiar with most of them but look promising for my 2023 TBR.
Happy Reading 💖📚🎉

1176148 Finished Old Indian Legends by Zitkála-Šá. This was a group read from another group this month. A wonderful collection of Native American folktales. The first to be compiled and written by a First Nations author in 1901.

1176148 Sorry Jennifer…
This appears very similar to the monthly PIFM so I am not inclined to join.

Thanks for the review Joy. Put this on my TBR a few months ago. Going to make it priority for January 2023.

1176148 Finished Twisted Game (Filthy Wicked Psychos, #1) by Eva Ashwood . This was a group read for a dark romance group. Like the multiple points of view to help show how twisted each is. Some development issues but hoping the group decides to try book two when it publishes next year.

1176148 Finished Imperial Deserter (Decline and Fall of the Galactic Empire Book 1) by Andrew Moriarty
Four stars for an interesting start to this space opera series.

1176148 Finally finished The Clockmaker's Daughter by Kate Morton . My first time reading Kate Morton. Three stars because I found the writing inconstant and slow. I found many POVs distracting but usually I have no problems with multiple POVs.
1176148 Finally finished my 10th box set, The Six of Crows Duology Boxed Set. I really enjoyed this duo set. Great world building and enjoyable character arcs. 4+ stars.

Fingers crossed I can get at least two more sets read to hit a total of 12. Finishing all sixteen this year is probably not going happen but I’m ok with that.

PIFM"

Sorry for the delay Jennifer, getting over a cold. Not familiar with anything on your shelf but picked a few for Halloween month, one set in New Orleans since I lived there for 30 yrs…(fyi love the author named MC Nola) and two women fictions that looked interesting

A Witch of a Day (Beechwood Harbor Magic Mystery #0.5) by Danielle Garrett prequel to Murder's a Witch (Beechwood Harbor Magic Mystery, #1) by Danielle Garrett The Shop on Royal Street (Royal Street, #1) by Karen White The Night of Many Endings by Melissa Payne Slightly South of Simple (Peachtree Bluff #1) by Kristy Woodson Harvey

Hope they are enjoyable reads

This sounds like an interesting collection, did you enjoy them? I need to read more plays to my challenge this year.
