Finished epic fantasy 5 stars. Feminist and gender fluid “outlaws” trying to correct societal inequality. Wonderfully written.

Also finished which was not on my original list. 4.5 stars. contemporary story funny, yet sad story about a woman coping with life in an office cubicle. That just skims the surface but why ruin it for others.

The Water Outlaws by S.L. Huang

Funny romance fantasy so I hope that counts. Definitely had comedy!

Added . Had a group read doing a reread of the series. It’s been interesting going back. This is #3 so the world building and the character development is much improved. Sticking with my 3 star rating

Major changes at the end so that will allow for all kinds of stressful situation in book 4 . Will get to that next month.

Finished , 3.5 fast read, liked the main character but some of the secondary characters were one dimensional. Better than so that was a bonus. These reworked of Greek mythology books have been hit and mostly miss lately.

I have finished Orlando, 4 stars. A classic for good reason.

I finished and both excellent. The Street was so much more than I expected! Wonderfully written and I could not put it down but that was because I couldn’t believe what disaster would happen to the main character next.
