If you scroll down a little you'll see a Book Discussion folder and there are already topics there for the current books. Feel free to add your comments or ask any questions.

I imagine this task might increase in difficulty as the number climbs."It's fine for multiple people to list the same book and definitely makes it easier than trying to keep track when we get to higher numbers.

I love these books but haven't re-read them for years, I think my last re-read was Philosophers Stone in 2011 (ish). From Goblet Of Fire on I got the books on the day they were released, even getting Deathly Hallows at midnight. Went to a midnight screening of the final movie as well.
I read The Midnight Library last year and thought it was very good, thought provoking for me. I also love Dickens works
3rd book finished - Driftnet4 stars from me. I enjoyed this book, although the subject may be sensitive for some people. The ending felt rushed, at only 262 pages it wouldn't have been dragging it out to take more time with the ending.

Think you may just have helped my decision about what to read next, I'm leaning towards Driftnet now
2nd book finished now - Girls Who LieThis is the second book in the Forbidden Iceland series by Eva Björg Ægisdóttir. I read the first one in February 2021 and have been looking forward to finally getting a chance to read this one, especially after a webchat/seminar with some Nordic authors, including Eva. It caught my attention from the start and I was intrigued to find out what had happened. There was a twist towards the end which I didn't see coming and then I was even more keen to find out everything.
She does have a couple more books but they haven't been translated into English - I'll be keeping an eye for the translations as I'm definitely eager to read them.
A great start to 2022 with 2 5 star readings in the first week

Thanks Jennifer. I will definitely post the books I have start..."
I've been thinking about this and going to stick to books started since 1st January. I had thought of a few ideas but this one is simple :)
First book finished, The Snow Killer which I've been very keen to read for some time. I'd heard a lot of good reviews about this book and it didn't disappoint. I have to admit one of the "twists" did catch me out. I'm definitely interested to read the next books in this series. 5 stars from me - a good way to start the year
