For no good reason, I've struggled with getting into a Jo Nesbo book. I keep starting the same one, and it hasn't hooked me yet."

Which one have you tried Amy?

If it's one of the series books by Yrsa Sigurdardottir I'd recommend starting with the first in the series. She has a few standalones translated into English too. I've read all her books that have been translated and love them so if you need any guidance give me a shout ;)

Thanks for the info. I'll finish the Larsson books and then decide whether or not to try the first of the Lagercrantz books

Thanks :) I have a mix of authors I know and like as well as some new ones. Some books I've heard lots about, some I haven't heard so much about.

1176148 Let's see if I can manage 5....

The Lost Apothecary by Sarah Penner The Lost Apothecary
The Sanatorium (Detective Elin Warner, #1) by Sarah Pearse The Sanatorium
Black Summer (Washington Poe, #2) by M.W. Craven Black Summer
Three Hours by Rosamund Lupton Three Hours
The Doll by Yrsa Sigurðardóttir The Doll

That's actually really hard and I keep changing my mind for that list

It's 500 in another group I'm in but we seem to have had 400. Either works, only about a third of my books are over 400. Even fewer over 500.
