Good luck. The only book I've read from your list is The Night Circus which I loved. Unfortunately I struggled with The Starless Sea, the 2nd book by Erin Morgenstern

Which one have you tried Amy?

If it's one of the series books by Yrsa Sigurdardottir I'd recommend starting with the first in the series. She has a few standalones translated into English too. I've read all her books that have been translated and love them so if you need any guidance give me a shout ;)

Feel free to browse through my shelves for ideas ;)

Thanks for the info. I'll finish the Larsson books and then decide whether or not to try the first of the Lagercrantz books

Thanks :) I have a mix of authors I know and like as well as some new ones. Some books I've heard lots about, some I haven't heard so much about.
Let's see if I can manage 5....
The Lost Apothecary
The Sanatorium
Black Summer
Three Hours
The DollThat's actually really hard and I keep changing my mind for that list

It's 500 in another group I'm in but we seem to have had 400. Either works, only about a third of my books are over 400. Even fewer over 500.
I have read any of your choices but The House On The Cerulean Sea is one that I've been considering adding to my list
