It's in Stirling isn't it? I've been there many times, lovely part of the country.

I'm considering maybe going over for it in 2022. If I remember right I watched her session virtually. I've seen a couple of other webchats with her this year which were great, she seems such a lovely person
1176148 I have Rock Paper Scissors on my to-read list. I've heard of some of your other choices but haven't read them

1176148 I loved The Midnight Library.
Elly Griffiths is one of my favourite authors but I haven't read The Postscript Murders yet - it's in my to-read pile but I have read all her Ruth Galloway books

Lovely part of Scotland :) I also love crime and have read some Scottish authors. I also joined a few of the virtual events at Bloody Scotland in September

Thanks for the well wishes Vikki! Hopefully you can find some gems on here."

That's the problem! I find too many books to add to my list, it grows faster than I can read lol

I actually started with The Snowman then went back to The Bat and have read the rest in order.

1176148 Another group I'm in does a big book challenge and you have to use the 1st edition hardback so that it's "fair" but personally I've always thought it should be the edition you actually read.
Seemingly my average page count is around 350.

1176148 I do the same as Ruth and update as I go along. I hadn't done that this month with the move here and it's harder doing them all in 1 go. Especially for the bonus points. So I'd definitely recommend updating as you finish each book ;)

I haven't read any of the reviews yet... hopefully I won't struggle with it. I tend to be quite persistent and get through books I struggle with but it does make the experience more tedious

I like both Philippa Gregory and Alison Weir :)
Love the Harry Hole books but sometimes I need to give myself a kick to read the next one.
