Dark Ark: After the Flood Vol. 1 ★★The premise of a 2nd ark full of monsters in addition to Noah's is a good one but the creative team is milking it now.
Undone by Blood ★★★Two Westerns told alternating back and forth. One traditional, the other of a young woman looking for revenge for her murdered family in 1970's Arizona.
The Times I Knew I Was Gay ★★An illustrated memoir about a young woman coming to grips with her sexuality.

I've also come across this a few times with NG or EW books that haven't been published yet. Where the book won't show up in a search on GR but when you go to add it and put the ISBN in, it already exists.
Geoff wrote: "Had to add this one to GR myself.. and it's really good!Wait - you can add books to NetGalley? Can you add page counts too?"
If you're a GR librarian, you can update whatever info you need to on a book. I edit graphic novels all the time. They're always wrong.
The Head of Mimir ★★★★Part Norse mythology / part Marvel's Asgard. A prose tale of young Heimdall and Sif.
The Harrowing of Hell ★★★Jesus's descent into Hell after his crucifixion. The art is striking.
Bear ★★★
A picture book laid out like a comic. Bear is the story of a guide dog who one day loses his sight and goes on an adventure.
Blade of the Immortal Deluxe Volume 1 ★★★A famous Manga that didn't live up to its hype.
The World of Black Hammer: Library Edition, Volume 1 ★★★★★
Two of the best expansions of Jeff Lemire's Black Hammer universe.
The Photographer of Mauthausen ★★★★Th true story of a prisoner of war in a WWII concentration camp who risked his life to smuggle pictures of the atrocities committed out of the camp.
Donna wrote: "When I learn that someone is following me, I check them out, and if there's no reason not to, I shoot them a friend request. Hey, why not?"If we share a lot of the same books, I do the same.

When you send someone a friend request, you do automatically start following their reviews. But there is also an option for you to follow a user's reviews without friending them and that's where most of my followers have come from.
Alexander wrote: "I have more of a problem with our board's Reviews thread.. quite a lot of people pop in to post their reviews and don't take the time to like other people's reviews. I know, that sounds kind of churlish, but I just don't take well to rudeness.."I always make a point to read and like the reviews posted there as it's the whole point. Hopefully, the other active group members do as well.
Bonnie wrote: "I've got 320 plus friends and only about 8 or 10 followers. That means most aren't following my reviews, right?."No. Those are people you aren't friends with that follow your reviews. Anyone you are friends with are automatically following your reviews.
Lindsey wrote: "II thought when you added someone as your friend then you were following their reviews? ."That is correct.
Lindsey wrote: "If you're friends then their reviews should come up in your newsfeed, right?."
That depends on how you have your newsfeed set up. I have mine set to only "top friends" because of how much unrelated garbage was showing up that I was having to filter through.
Only a small percentage of GR friends are going to like your reviews. Typically it's only about 10% for me. Most people don't even realize that it's a thing or that it's important to you because it's not important to them. Some people are just looking to collect friends and then never interact with them. I have no idea why. If we don't interact on a regular basis or like the same genres, that's when I consider dropping them.
Some of my friends will only comment on my review and not like it as well. I'm more than OK with that because my main passion for being on GR is that it allows me to interact with people with similar book interests. Anytime I'm talking books, I'm happy. I'm often contemplated getting a job at a book store or comic book store after I retire (if any still exist at that point), just so I can have conversations with other passionate readers.
