I use ADE as well, but I don't find it to be a pain at all. I have it installed on my computer and then drag and drop books onto my nook or sideload them to my iPad for graphic novels using Bluefire.
Just finished Nobody Move by Phillip ElliottReview
4 star modern crime noir in the vein of Elmore Leonard.

I don't even request anything from them anymore."Aw but you have 452 followers right here on GR in your friends plus another 30 people actually following you. I'd add to your profile that you have almost 500 followers on social media.
I never use IE. I'm surprised you even have IE available at work. Even Microsoft says you shouldn't use it anymore due to security flaws. They should have at least upgraded you to Edge.

I was just doing this 5 minutes ago by chance.
1. Go to Review Copies.
2. Click on the Magnifying Glass on the left. That will expand the search.
3. Make sure Digital Review Copes is highlighted. If it's not click it. Now you should be seeing all of the available books for download and request. I think it should already be sorted by Date Added, but if it's not, you can change that by clicking on Sort.
You can also make this a widget on your EW home page by:
1. Clicking on Add Widget.
2. Selecting Review Copies.
3. Checking Digital Review Copies.
I've never tried. It seems to me like they are exploiting reviewers a bit by only giving you excerpts. I'd love to hear about other people's experiences with it though.

NG probably caches the pages for a few hours at a time. Either that or they only rerun calculations overnight depending on how they've set up their site. You see the same thing on GR with the Reading Challenge on your homepage.

I feel like Cubs and Rex Sox fans are both part of a small niche of long suffering tradition, and strangely enough both rescued by Theo Epstein.
Tracy Marie wrote: "I want to announce that we have our first MOD already!Chad has been with Edelweiss and Netgalley for the last several years. He reviews about 300 books a year from both sites combined, and is a software developer which will be very handy with technical issues.
As an added plus he is also a Goodreads librarian.
He is obviously very qualified to help with the group so instead of giving him just one position, he is a Mod to the entire board. We are very lucky to have Chad.
Let's all welcome Chad as our first MOD!!."
Thank you Tracy Marie.
I typically wait until the books are closer to publication before reading them. Occasionally, if it's an author I'm really excited about I'll read it right away. I try and follow any guidelines sent directly to me from the publisher. If I don't have any that asks me to wait, I'll publish a vague review to GR and NG or EW right away that expresses how I felt about the book without giving away any of the plot. I'm not organized enough to remember and go back to leave a review months later.

Hi I'm Chad, 46, married for 14 years and lived on Long Island for the last 11 years. I'm a software engineer and a life long Cubs fan. I read a lot of graphic novels, fantasy, science fiction, mystery, and adventure novels. I've been using Edelweiss and NG for the last few years. Edelweiss does have some publishers not on NG and is a good place to try again if you get turned down on NG. Edelweiss isn't as intuitive to use but once you set up your dashboard with your saved filters it's a lot easier to use.
Terry wrote: "I'm not currently using Edelweiss. Is it as awesome as NG? Maybe I will set up an account tonight after work.. which I am doing occasionally between messages, I promise. ;)"It's not as intuitive to use but it has some publishers that NetGalley doesn't have. I also get approved sometimes on edelweiss after I've been denied on NG.
