They are two of my favorite authors. Together or separate I read it all from them.
Alexander wrote: "This is what I've started doing. Just be clear with me, approve or decline. The 'wish for it' thing is silly."It's kind of like, "Well if we can't find anyone with a bigger social media presence to review these, we have these skells who'll do it."
Starcraft: Scavengers ★★★A take on Alien set in the Starcraft mythos.
The Lost City of Heracleon ★★
An odd 50's sci-fi pulp inspired adventure.
Eat, and Love Yourself ★★★★
A story about a girl facing her eating disorder.
Something is Killing the Children, Vol. 1 ★★★★★
A dark horror version of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Ghosted in L.A., Vol. 1 ★★★
Some fluff about a girl going to college in LA who discovers a Melrose Place full of ghosts.
Terry wrote: "So I hadn't been planning really to do much with galleys, but my fiancee wants to give blogging a go with me, so I'm thinking I'm going to cut back big time on my back list and focus more on galley..."The way I look at it is, if I don't read it as a galley, it'll end up on the back list anyway.
Crooked River ★★★★In his 19th book, Agent Pendergast gets involved when dozens of feet wash up on a Florida beach.

Congrats!
Once & Future, Vol. 1 ★★★★★Gillen and Mora flip the Arthurian legend on its ear.
House of X / Powers of X ★★★★★
The first time I've enjoyed the X-Men since Fraction and Gillen left the title 10 years ago. Hickman knocked it out of the park.
Batman, Volume 12: City of Bane Part 1 ★★★★★
Those two Cat and the Bat issues were fantastic. King really nailed that relationship.
Joe Golem: Occult Detective, Vol. 4: The Conjurors ★★★★
A good adaptation of the book by Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden.
Archie vs. Predator II ★★★★★
I wish all inter-company crossovers were this good. I loved the meta nature and satire.
The Wild Storm, Vol. 4 ★★★★
Warren Ellis moves to The Authority phase of his condensed rendition of the Wildstorm universe.
Lizard in a Zoot Suit ★★★★A lizard man pops up in 1940s L.A.
COPRA Round 6 ★★★★
If comic books ever show up in the MOMA, it'll be this one. Wildly inventive art.
Terry wrote: "How's your nephew now, Chad?"He's fine. Worst symptom he had was an ear infection. We think my niece has it now. She's been sick since Sunday with a fever, aches, chills. My brother in law is a police officer in Queens and he hasn't been quarantining himself from the rest of the family so it was probably only a matter of time.
Started Crooked River today by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. If you're looking for a great murder / mystery series, this is one of my favs. Agent Pendergast is a unique, eccentric detective.
Peace Talks by Jim Butcher - Dresden Files is another one of my favorite series. I've been waiting on this book for a few years now.
Queen of Storms by Raymond Feist. - Feist has been one of my favorite authors since high school. I got an arc of this a couple of weeks ago and other things keep taking priority.
Terry ~ Huntress of Erudition wrote: "I actually love staying home - I was getting burned out commuting to and from NY and was bringing work home, working at night, working on the weekends. Most of us in our NY office are on 90 day furlough and not allowed to work, so this is a really nice break for me."Where are you located at Terry? I'm on Long Island. I used to work in Manhattan and my wife still does, but we're both telecommuting for the foreseeable future now.
Terry ~ Huntress of Erudition wrote: "My challenge is to read & review my 40 + backlogged titles on Netgalley by the end of this year."Only 40. I've got like 250. I have been whittling them down though since being stuck at home.
Baltimore Omnibus Volume 2 by Mike Mignola & Christopher Golden ★★★★ Lord Baltimore fights a bunch of witches. Ultimately for the fate of the world.
My Review
Once Upon a Time in France by Fabian Nury ★★★★ The true story of Joseph Joanovici, a Romanian Jew who came to France and became a scrap-metal magnate. During World War II he straddled the fence of profiting off Germany while subversively helping the Resistance. The story reminded me of the Sopranos.
My Review
My Review by JJ Dupuis ★★★ - A missing persons case during a bigfoot hunt. Thanks to Pam whose review interested me in this enough to request it.
