101690 Since I already downloaded a Kindle library book, which limits my time to keep it. The Girl Who Chased The Moon will be my next read, but usually I also go with the genre or type of story I am 'feeling' in the mood for.

101690 Rod, I am so glad you found us, and I'm looking forward to checking out your books.

101690 Hi Rod and WELCOME! I so agree with your viewpoint. Glad to have you with us. :]

101690 OMG, I'm almost finished reading the Harmony trilogy, Harmony Trilogy by Nancy Mehl which has been very good, and I would be done already if I could stay off this site, haha!

Now comes the dilemma of what to read next!

I have already downloaded my library's edition of The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen

but I am also dying to read 4 well rated Kindle freebies that I just got!~ My Boyfriend Merlin (My Merlin, #1) by Priya Ardis

The Light of Asteria (Kailmeyra Series Book 1) Volume 1 by Elizabeth Isaacs

Elfin (The Elfin, #1) by Quinn Loftis

and Draykon (Draykon, #1) by Charlotte E. English

How do you choose when faced with this dilemma?

101690 I think so too, Kristi!

101690 I just read about this green bean soup in a Mennonite story I'm reading. It sounded so good that I had to look it up, and save it to my Pinterest, because I sure want to make it soon!

101690 Re: Lapis Lazuli, I also like optional quests and clear, easy to understand directions/gameplay....man I hated the game-MYST!!!!!

Like Lyndsey said, I haven't plated Destiny either, who are the developers, and what type/genre of game is it? Is it a PC or console game?
101690 I have....I believe it's 222 lists saved... including 5 that I created!

I ♥,♥,♥ Listopia book lists and use them often to find books to read.

Do you love Listopia, and have you created any lists?
101690 Thanks for the tip. I also care more about just playing the peeps than skill-level ect. I love games with quests to do.

I've always been a cheater, and had a Game Genie for my Nintendo games, and/or use game walkthroughs! I want to play.... not get stuck on a game.

The only new games I have bought recently are like $2.99 for the full games for my Kindle Fire. Eternal Journey, Forest Legends: The Call Of Love, Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride, Grim Legends 2:Song Of The Dark Swan, Lake House, Stray Souls: Dollhouse Story, Word Hero.
101690 I admit, I check it several times a day, after I check this group.

I love to join interesting discussions.

Also found another benefit to clicking it, it resets your Recommendations shelf!

101690 So far, the only paranormal romance I have read, involve ghosts. Just don't seem to be able to wrap my head around romance with creatures of legend like vampires or werewolves, or animal shape-shifters.

Except elves, now I love Legolas from LOTR, yes, I could definitely get into a romance story with a gorgeous good[not evil] elf warrior like him! Anyone know of any books like that?
Besides TLOTR of course.

Any suggestions?
101690 I never played the first Baldur's gate, only II-Shadows Of Amn, which I totally loved. I made the leader a thief. Worked so hard to get so far then my daughter and I left the house and my grandson got my lead character killed! I never had the heart to ever play it again. Now I just play the simpler and shorter $6.99 casual adventure download games.
101690 Kristi, you have introduced me to a new genre~Steampunk, and a new author~Jordan Elizabeth Mierek! After checking out her book Cogling, I discovered two more that I want to read~Escape from Witchwood Hollow and Treasure, Darkly!

Now I must go look for a Listopia list of Steampunk books to save, haha!
101690 Will do, Kristi.
101690 Lyndsey wrote: "I haven't read those but live fantasy and highly recommend The Night Circus ... It's Beautiful."

That does sound very good and I just added it to my TBR list,
thanks.

Re: Kristi, I also think Cogling sounds interesting.

101690 I enjoyed the cozy mystery~ If Fried Chicken Could Fly (Gram’s Country Cooking School Mystery #1) by Paige Shelton and now I'm reading ~ Harmony Trilogy by Nancy Mehl I read and liked the first book, but decided to borrow the trilogy for my Kindle, so now I can read the next two books.

101690 Hi and WELCOME to the group, Bill.

I hope you will find several new titles/authors here, and on my bookshelves on my profile page.

I too, stopped reading King after his taste for sex perverts in Cujo and Dolores Clairborne, then hearing him say he just wanted to write books he would be proud for his kids to read! He wants his daughter to read a book with father/daughter incest.... how sick is that?

Anyway, John Saul is my pick, plus I really enjoyed~
Crawlspace by Herbert Lieberman and The Haunting of Maddy Clare by Simone St. James , as well
101690 I can't wait to see what you think of it! :]
101690 Desiree, just discovered this genre myself, but I am already excited about it, especially after reading the awesome 'Dress Shop Of Dreams'.
101690 I was wondering if the fans here who love books such as The Lord Of The Rings trilogy The Fellowship of the Ring (The Lord of the Rings, #1) by J.R.R. Tolkien and The Dress Shop Of Dreams The Dress Shop of Dreams by Menna van Praag can share the titles of their favorites?

I have already added~ The House at the End of Hope Street by Menna van Praag

and ~ The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Sarah Addison Allen

to my TBR list, who can give me more?
