I think it went like this. She wanted him back, not out of guilt, but because Erik wasn't doing it for her any more. The fact that he had money was a nice bonus.

When she saw that he was with Monica, and she could tell right off this wasn't just some whore screw (even if Jonathan didn't even realize it yet) she wanted him more, and as the weeks went on, all the love just turned to vindictiveness, until it was just all about money.

I hope that makes sense.

No, I do not get upset when writing the scenes, because there's a good chance I've been up in the middle of the night, working the scene through a hundred times in my head. Then, if there were tears they happened.

When I'm typing those scenes they go very slowly. Because they scare me. Their wedding night scene (I will frame you in stars), the wedding itself, and the proposal, took a week each. Why? Terror. Sheer terror of being maudlin and sappy and stupid.

But I went for it anyway. It hurt me, but not in the way you think. It was fear that I'd look cheap, and having to constantly take out things that were clever but insincere. Witty and clever is much easier. Pure, raw sincerity is really, really hard.

I'm breathless.

On the rewrite of chapter one, Tony nailed it. I just moved the breakup back a couple of months because the guilt was weighing down the story. It became about Daniel and Theresa, not Antonio and Theresa. Boooooring.

With regard to the wiki, you are more than welcome to add, improve, revise. It's a publicly editable database. Go for it.

I want to tell you the biggest challenge in managing all these moving parts is making sure the story stays on the couple and doesn't get too "plotty" because there are a shit load of moving parts here.

I think there simply aren't enough doctor books, and you know they are bossy, demanding assholes, which is....well...sexy and alpha.

Alas, the crush of the Drazen sisters will delay that book for a good long while.

I was just telling a friend how beautiful all these teasers are, how you all are staying true to the brand while making the work your own. I can put them on my pages (and I do, when I can) and they "hang" there aesthetically...no problem.
