CONGRATULATIONS SARAH!!!!!

Once I finish this series, I'm going on a reading binge starting with Tiffany Reisz. I'd LOVE to make it a buddy read.

Also... The other inconsistency I should mention? Where Jonathan minimizes physical contact with his ex wife when he tells monica about it? THAT I intended.

Okay so in the past week, you all have found TWO plot inconsistencies between books. First off, I want to thank you for reading so carefully. I am truly blessed to have you all on my team.

The inconsistencies fall on me. Every word is my responsibility.

The misappropriation of Jonathan's wedding to HIS father's house as opposed to HER father's house is simply because the editors and proofreaders didn't know where the wedding was, so couldn't call it out for correction. I have corrected it everywhere except Amazon for reasons I won't bore you with. I'll get to Amazon soon.

The second, is trickier. In Submit, I put Jessica at the door, waiting for Jonathan on the night of the Eclipse party. In Jessica/Sharon's SOD, I put her in the back.

Why?

Well, one, I should have checked the blocking. That was just stupid. My excuse is two kids, a job, and a brutal release schedule.

But the REASON is that when writing Submit, I wanted to express Jonathan's bafflement with Jessica's excitement at seeing him, so I put her at the front door. In SOD1, I wanted to express (at least symbolically) that she was hiding her true motivations, so I put her in the back, in the dark.

I'm not fixing Jessica's blocking between these two. How we go into a scene is so important to how we get out of it, I'd have to rewrite entire scenes in order to make a change work. I'd have to make her in some other, third place, and have Jonathan's perception of how she looked, what she did, and how she sounded, change as his own attitudes and motivations changed.

So, I hope you can take away the emotional truths of these encounters, which is the only thing that's important to me as I write.

And please be aware.....there will be more.

When you catch them, let me know. You guys are my biggest asset in these stories. I really do avoid the threads about my work, so PM me if another glaring inconsistency presents itself.

Adam and Darren - Future books will focus on tertiary characters in the series. Debbie/Darren/Sharon/The Drazen Sisters.

Whether or not I tell Adam and Darren's story kind of depends on how all that goes, and whether or not I feel like I can go in depth successfully on m/m.

Monica's response to Jonathan's arrest:

Her response will be to what he was arrested FOR. As far as her immediate reaction, he was taken away while she was still a little shell-shocked.

His arrest is a small corner of a larger thing. She's going to react to the larger thing by putting her ass on the line for her man.
