Deirdre is the keeper of the family's Catholic guilt. Her problems are unrelated to Jonathan, but are related to the fact that she wants things to be good, and perfect, and right.
More on her story in later books :)

He may be a little old, but if all that works out, it'll be in the contract that I get a gold-plated drool-catcher.

Any thoughts on what you will do after this series? A completely different story/character? Or will you expand on another character in this ..."
1) I'm working on a novel with a partner about a blind girl who falls in love with her eye surgeon.
2) Okay here's the disclosure (unless I change my mind)
The next things I work on will be the stories of some of Jonathan's sisters. Novels, some series. All erotic romance. All stand alone (you won't have to have read SOS to read these.
And JDII - yes, you're going to want to put a hurtin' on him.

I'm saving the best for book 7 - where I hope to God, if everything works out, you will want to throw your kindles away.
(crossing fingers)

I have no plans for Erik, as of yet, though I reserve the right to change my mind.
Jonathan's father -- JDII -- This guy. This fucking guy. I have plans for this guy.

You mean Jonathan's family?
Some of his family know about her. Some of his family is clueless.
Rachel, as we know, is alive. We also know JDII knows good god damn well about her. We also know JDIII has the power to "move" her.

Sarah! What kind of person would I be if I told!

The other books aren't written, but planned. I would have released full length novels if they'd been ready - unfortunately....they're not (or fortunately - actually, if I'd done this all in one shot it would be a very different (and less original) story.

Boring answer is, They have the flight manifest. They'd need to make sure she was who they thought and yes, they may want to question her with regard to Jonathan's uhhhhmmm - domestic abuse issues.

This is hard to answer.
This is a new genre for me. And I wanted to test the waters, see how I liked writing it (I love it). So I wrote a short and thought, "Maybe this will be like the TV pilot, we'll see if it gets picked up."
After that, parts of their story revealed themselves in exactly the way a TV show would, in dual sequence tensions (each book has eight small set pieces, two TV episodes, structurally)
So anyway - that was really boring.
What I love is getting feedback from people, and from there I can make adjustments to what I'm doing. Not make it different, just turn the volume up on some stuff and down on tohers.
For instance, I had no idea Jessica would be SO REVILED. So now I can really...well-- I won't say.

I have to say i was originally inspired by Michael Fassbender, but in my mind, depending on the scene, Cole Houser has been known to show up.

But I understand, I'm forcing you to take small bites :(
