[close] Like video games, but still read a lot? If so, then this is the group for you! Here, we talk about our favorite books, and maybe even our favorite games, as long as the speech is appropriate. Have fun reading and gaming!

[close] Welcome to the home of the Dawnrise Book Club! Dawnrise is a mature community with a focus on being inclusive, respectful, dedicated, having fun and building relationships within our community as a whole and in the experiences we share together, and that extends to the Dawnrise book club. Our focus has always been on our members and community. We recognize that a big component of our experiences are the people we share them with, and so our activites are structured to serve our community, not vice versa. We have a diverse group of members ranging in age, gender identity and expression, orientation, family situation, race, gaming habits and interests, and we're always looking for new people! Our book club gives us an opportunity to experience books that maybe we wouldn't choose for ourselves, and also gives us a fun excuse to get together and chat. Since February 2013, we've picked one book a month (give or take!) to read together and discuss as we read it. When we're finished, we get together on a Google Hangout to wrap up our discussion.
