The 20 Top Books Goodreads Members Are Reading Now

Posted by Cybil on April 27, 2020
Our collective definition of FOMO may have changed recently, but—somehow—it’s still easy to feel like you’re missing out while sheltering in place. Especially when it comes to what everyone’s reading. Luckily, we dug into our data to make sure you know exactly what your fellow readers are up to.

Below you'll find those books ranked according to popularity. You can see that there's plenty of representation from recent Reese Witherspoon bookclub picks, including Untamed, Such a Fun Age, The Giver of Stars, and Daisy Jones and the Six, as well as the book that she currently stars in the adaptation of, Little Fires Everywhere.

And would it even be a 'most read on Goodreads' list without Harry Potter in the mix, along with long-time reader favorites Where the Crawdads Sing, Becoming, and Educated? We think not!

As always, be sure to add the books that pique your interest to your Want to Read shelf. And happy reading!

Carol L Bliss I guess people don't understand that these are the top 20 books, can't be skewed its a fact. Also if it's the top 20 and there are no male authors included its a fact that none are male.

The Brian Dobbs who wrote Ghosts of Haileybury is a different Brian Dobbs. I would suggest the Brian Dobbs commenting here add his middle initial or name to his works, to differentiate himself from other Brian Dobbs who author books.

Alric The thing is, the Brian Dobbs who has the complaint has not had a book in print in decades. The primary point is, he's dropping a complaint in the middle of nowhere, where it is seen by us, who has no control over it. He needs to contact the publisher of his book (which I think it out of business) or the people who manage this website and Amazon.

Sukh I have just finished reading "Where the Crawdad Sings" last night. It is honestly a truly amazing and beautifully written novel.

Brenda Of course, Harry Potter, but also Where the Crawdads Sing & The Giver of Stars. Both are 5*reads!
