The Most Read Books on Goodreads in December

Posted by Danny on December 17, 2019
What's popular this holiday season? Where the Crawdads Sing continues its super hot streak, as does Tara Westover's Educated, while newer (and highly giftable books) like The Giver of Stars and The Dutch House join them at the top of the list. Also trending? Three of the twenty 2019 Goodreads Choice Award Winners: The Queen of Nothing, The Silent Patient, and The Institute.

Here at Goodreads we like to know what people are reading. From peeking at the books of our fellow commuters to not-so-surreptitiously checking out the stacks on our coworkers' desks, we embrace our curious nature. That's why we're rounding up what Goodreads members around the world are currently reading. These are the top books, ranked by the number of people who have read them this month.

Bonnie 11 is The Family Upstairs for me, tagged as Prime Reading, probably because I have Amazon Prime. Kinda sounds like a sneaky ad placement to me.

message 14: by Onnis (new)

Onnis Lee Baptized In Muddy Waters What The Preachers Don't Want You To Know is the book to read...

I have neither Prime nor Kindle, but both showed up in this list for me. Not so sneaky at all. Very overt.

Allison Lol #11 for me is In the Heart of Fire by Dean Koontz
