Poll: What Is The Most Lethal Evil In The Original Trilogy?
Fantasy is filled with creatures.
And Terry Brooks has written some of the most memorable!
From the Warlock Lord and his Skullbearers to the Dagda Mor and his Reaper, Brooks heroes have long had to confront the very worst evil know in the Four Lands. The Sword of Shannara, The Elfstones of Shannara, and The Wishsong of Shannara are filled with them. After all, it takes a potent villain to bring out the most heroic in someone.
Sometimes that evil wins battles. But never the war.

Terry Reviews: DAUGHTER OF SMOKE AND BONE
Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor

This month I am recommending the entire Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy which includes the aforementioned, Days of Blood and Starlight and Dreams of Gods and Monsters. Been reading these books since they first started publishing. Laini Taylor is the author, and I knew about her from earlier work, but this is in my opinion the best storytelling she has done. Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

I am tempted to suggest John Greene, author of The Fault in Our Stars and Looking For Alaska, two really wonderful YA books, but I am going to recommend Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell, instead. Terry stopped by Powell’s City of Books on July 13, 2014 to talk about his new book, The High Druid’s Blade !That wasn’t all he talked about though. He talked about the Shannara TV show that is coming to MTV next year! The show was green lit almost two weeks ago, the massive cable network ordering 10 episodes that will adapt the bestselling novel The Elfstones of Shannara.
