Terry’s NYCC Schedule
I am attending this week’s New York Comic Con.
My wife Kristin is coming with me and it will be her first time to New York, making this an extra special trip. But flying across the entire country from Seattle is more work than pleasure. And we will be working hard both for Penguin Random House and MTV.

October Contest: #ShareShannara On Twitter
For the last two months, Terry and I have held Facebook contests where readers could enter to win a very rare San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive Edition of The Elfstones of Shannara.
Only 2000 mass market paperbacks were produced and they were given away at the convention. I promised when I began those contests that other forms of social media would be given contests of their own. Not everyone uses Facebook. September Giveaway Winner: The SDCC Exclusive Edition
On September 1st, I posted a giveaway contest!
What was the contest for? A mass market paperback copy of the San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive The Elfstones of Shannara!
These were given out for free at Comic-Con in early July. There were only 2000 copies printed, making these exceptionally rare. And since my wife is a sneaky redhead—aren’t they all?—she happened to snag a few copies so we could give them away on the website.

Terry and I attended Salt Lake Comic Con last week. It was a great convention. More than 100,000 people came out in support of all things geek. Our kind of people!
