Happy Birthday, Terry Brooks!
Today is the birthday of one Terry Brooks!
I have known Terry for almost two decades now. He’s one of my favorite people. He is kind, smart, generous, has a wicked sense of humor, grumbles about Seattle sports teams almost as much as I do, and he works as hard as anyone else I know. He cares for his family, keeps his friends close, and knows he has the best fans in the world.
I am his WebDruid. But to me, he is friend, mentor, and second father.

On Tuesday Nights: The Shannara Chronicles
The Shannara Chronicles airs Tuesday nights at 10/9c on MTV!
It is the long-anticipated adaptation of The Elfstones of Shannara by Terry Brooks, one of the masterpieces of epic fantasy.
10 episodes will tell the story Amberle, Eretria, Wil, and Allanon as they attempt to save the Ellcrys, the magical tree that keeps demons locked away in the Forbidding.
Austin Butler, Ivana Baquero, Poppy Drayton, Manu Bennett, and John Rhys-Davies star.
