Too Much Goodreads Is Bad for My Writing Health
I spend way too much time on Goodreads and its impacting my writing. Meaning I'm not as far along as I should be on my writing because of being too active on Goodreads. I have lots of books to crank out and Goodreads is stifling my progress. Can one addiction: Goodreads be detrimental to another: writing? My writing career isn't going to make itself successful without my input. So I'm going to spend more time on those projects I have mentioned in other previous blog posts: my sci-fi/Mixed genre trilogy, sequel to Weeping Well trilogy and cozy mysteries series, plays and other business and literary projects. That doesn't mean I won't be on Goodreads. I'll still be here. But more time is needed with my creativity.

Hi, My name's Angel and I'm A Science Fiction Nerd
Weeping Well the first book in the series (which is written as a standalone) has a little sci-fi in it among the other mixture of genres. But the sequel in the trilogy will have a lot more sci-fi as well as supernatural (which is another genre included in the first book). I've already started on the first few chapters. I'm a science fiction nerd. I'm a Trekkie from way back. I went to the Star Trek Convention in Toronto, Ontario Canada when I was nineteen years old. I thought I died and went to heaven. I love science in all its forms. I was going to be a pediatric surgeon when I was younger, mostly dealing with the heart. But I do have a college background in nursing, among advertising, marketing, psychology, English, Spanish, French, Literature, Computer
Science to name a few. I've attended three colleges.
I finally watched Seth MacFarlane's new creation The Orville. I watched other Seth MacFarlane's creations such as Family Guy, The Cleveland Show and American Dad. I also love historical fiction and I'm a historical fanatic and history nerd. I love mystery, suspense, thrillers, horror.
As for my sci-fi/light steampunk/speculative fiction/ a bit of romance/mystery/suspense/ fantasy to name some of the mixed genres included in my short story Traveling Salesman: Astronomgonist which is set in the late 1950s-1960s and also part of a trilogy, I have written 16, 593 words/57 pages and I have 13, 407 words to go. What is a Astronomgonist you say? You'll have to wait and see when the book comes out. And no you won't be able to find it on Google. The idea for this character came from my own weird, out of this universe creative mind.

Update on Weeping Well and Subsequent Projects
Weeping Well will officially become a trilogy. I'm currently writing the next two books to complete this series. I am almost halfway done with writing Traveling Salesman which will also be a trilogy. The first book in the trilogy will be only 30,000 words. I have 19, 106 words to go and I'll be finished. I'll take it through the editing process and then seek out beta readers. I am getting further along with the cozy mystery series as well. I have more than one, more than two, I have several cozy mystery series I am writing. The plays I'm writing are temporarily on hold, but not forgotten. I plan on getting them into this year round contest based in New York. Ahh, I miss New York. I hope to make a trip back there in the near future.
I have a two book sci-fantasy, mixed genre to get underway. I've started on the sequel to it, but the first book in that series unfortunately has to be rewritten before I can release it. I'm working on other aspects of publishing and I'm starting to build my own production company. I want to write and direct indie films. I'm working on building a school in my son's name and trying to eventually get several schools built in his name for disabled children created al over the world.
But this school will be different and much more efficient to the children and the parents. I've laid the bones for how I want this to be done. I have started a good strategy. Although, getting sponsors is another story. I've written a proposal more than one for another project for disabled families.
I'm not going into detail because I have to get it patented first and some sponsorship would be nice. I have come up with an idea and written a proposal for a new show for the HGTV network and hopefully I'll get a chance to present it to them. These are some of the things I'm doing. Not all I'm doing. Yes, I'm a very busy, businesswoman. I will keep you posted in other future updates.
