I'm a mom, avid blogger, reader, reviewer and multi-genre indie author who loves to mix genres and an inventor, playwright who writes all genres including visionary fiction.

I am currently separated. My son is a product of my interracial marriage. He is bi-racial. He is eleven years old. He is autistic/nonverbal and making steady and exceptional progress daily. I have lots and lots of biracial/multi-racial family members. I will write my son's biography one day in the near future. And yes, I will be self-publishing it.

My novel "Weeping Well" is revised and has been re-released (July 2017) and is now on Amazon and other online participating stores in paperback and e-book. A sequel to "Weeping Well" will be added starting from 2008-2010. "We

I won for Best Female Author in Fantasy in the Majestic Awards 2018 on Wattpad for my multi-genre steampunk/science fiction novella Traveling Salesman: Astronomgonist. I am so excited. And my following continues to increase. That's another award I can add to my book. It has 657 reads, 97 votes and 58 comments so far. It is ranked #90 in steampunk. Firstly, second place in... Angel M.B. Chadwick, Corridors of My Mind

“Books can be possessive, can't they? You're walking around in a bookstore and a certain one will jump out at you, like it had moved there on its own, just to get your attention. Sometimes what's inside will change your life, but sometimes you don't even have to read it. Sometimes it's a comfort just to have a book around. Many of these books haven't even had their spines cracked. 'Why do you buy books you don't even read?' our daughter asks us. That's like asking someone who lives alone why they bought a cat. For company, of course.”

I love literature. I'm obsessed with it. It's what started me to being a writer. Not many books today are written like the great classics. So I miss literature like that. I've read The Great Gatsby many times before too.

I've been a fan of Agatha Christie's, Edgar Allan Poe's works are my favorite, Bret Harte, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, Shakespeare, yes, I've read all his works and understand them very well. I use to interpret these authors works particularly Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe when I was just 15 years old.

But, those are just a few of the literary writers that I absolutely love and cherish. I given modern authors a chance too but, they just don't hit home for me like the classics do. Literature is in my blood. Without literature I don't think I'd ever have become an author. I'm glad we have the classics in common. Thanks for contacting me! Hope we can talk again.

Elizabeth Wheeler I just got your recommendation the The Great Gatsby. I've read that book several times, and loved it every time. I didn't realize people still read "literature" for pleasure. Most people will say "Oh I had to read that for school". As if reading a great piece of art is a burden. I'm so glad some people still read the classics just for the enjoyment.
