Mid-Summer Ghost Writing and Editing Services for Indie Authors Begins
I have started this July 2016 on Ghostwriting and Editing Services. I'm currently working on a project for a client in ghostwriting/editing his doctoral dissertation.
So far my client, Mr. Griffin is satisfied with my work. But, if anyone wants to book a slot with me for the coming months, please comment here. I'm taking only fictional short story works at this time.
For longer works book for December 2016- 2017 slots. I am only taking fictional works. The first chapter is free. PM me for my email address and my affordable price list.
Slots currently open:
August 2016- December 2017
*Please let me know if you have a strict deadline.
*Also please abide by my guidelines. Send one chapter first. I work on it and send it back to you. If you feel my services aren't to your tastes then you can seek elsewhere.
*I will work diligently on your manuscript. I won't eat or sleep until it's meticulously done well.
*This is paramount if you don't keep correspondence with me through email on a regular basis (unless you're incapacitated or dead). I will drop you as a client permanently and will not refund your money.
I had a client last year who I kept in contact with for months and she didn't contact me or respond until 3-6 months later and she gave me her entire book to edit, when I told her in our first meeting to send me one chapter first ( I edited it for free) to see if we were a good fit first before moving forward with the entire novel. I dropped her as a client and the project. So please don't make the same mistake she did.

Endings Are Brutal
I have made all the changes I can make to "Weeping Well" but, the ending is giving me trouble. I know the key components I want to use to end the novel but, executing it, is horrendous. I want it to end.

Author's Regret
I regret putting Corridors of My Mind out before putting out my novel. I wanted to put "Weeping Well" out first but, it wasn't ready. Instead I put out the poetry book first. I wished I had put out my novel works first before putting out the poetry book first. Maybe I'd have more success. People don't like or are afraid of poetry. No one takes a chance on it. I started writing when I was 13 and my first thing I wrote was a short story.
Writing poetry came much later and of course novel writing. I like writing all genres and all types of short stories, novels, novellas. Poetry I'm good at writing it but, it's not my favorite thing. I started doing it as an outlet when I was a kid to survive my depression.
I'm still working on my novel "Weeping Well" trying to get the right ending. I want a satisfying ending so I'm trying to get it to go smoothly. I've had it beta read so many times.
In the 26 years, I have been a writer/author I have never hated writing anything I've written even if it didn't go as smoothly. But, for the first time ever I hate writing "Weeping Well," not because of the content but, because I'm tired of working on it. I have worked on it nonstop for over four years and I want to move on to my other works.
But, since I'm not a quitter. I continue to work on it until everything is done right with it. But, I hate "Weeping Well" to the core. It has taken me deep into depression, one anxiety after another and I hate it. I wish I never wrote it.

Rewriting is Done
The rewriting is done on my novel "Weeping Well" but the ending needs more work which will be handled during the editing process. I kept 96% of the story that had positive comments on it and I rewrote or took out parts that just wouldn't work no matter how I rewrote them. Release date will still be between May and June. I'm going to make sure the book is thoroughly edited before seeking out a beta to give it a final look.
Thanks to everyone for their support and kind words through my rewriting process.

Rewriting is Hell
I've found after having my work beta read and through the editing process at least four scenes of my novel "Weeping Well" has to be rewritten, which means the story has to be written all over again because if the scenes don't work the rest of the story no matter how great it is goes down the toilet.
I was told by the beta readers the story is overall fantastic and had numerous great plots and great storyline but, those four scenes having to be rewritten are testing what little sanity I have left. I have written "Weeping Well" from scratch over 117,000 times in four years.
I have worked on it nonstop and have not been able to go on to finish or write my other novels. I hate rewriting it's like pulling your fingernails out one by one. The release date for "Weeping Well" will be between the end of May to June.

Gaps in a Amnesiac Characters Memory
Angel M.B. Chadwick
Question: If there is a gap in the characters memory say about a 100 days gap, should the gap be filled during the recovery of memories?
Or should the character be able to recover all their memories, except for the 100 days gap in memory, which is more realistic to real life because sometimes a person doesn't ever recover all their memories or sometimes they don't recover them at all? Also this character suffers from dissociative amnesia due to a number of extremely traumatic and harrowing events.
Will this be seen as plot inconsistency or draw interest even in the wake of frustration of the reader never knowing what happened in those last 100 days to the characters due to the character never being able to recall it? Will it be seen as a cliffhanger to be resolved later or because it's not actually a cliffhanger will it turn readers off because that part of the characters memory is never resolved?
*Research has been done on this extensively on my part. Just curious to know readers opinion on this.

Updates/ Author Schedule on My Future Books
Angel M.B. Chadwick
Currently my novel "Weeping Well" is complete and in the editing and beta reading process. In 6-9 weeks, it will be released on Amazon and other participating online bookstores.
In the fall, I will be releasing sample chapters of my secret pet project, my novel "Porcelain Bride," details of the plot will be kept to a bare minimum until it's release date at the end of 2016-early 2017.
All I'm going to tell you is it has mixed genres and one of them is epic, dark urban fantasy. As for my fantasy, mixed genre novel "Mazzie Carson" and the sequel. "Mazzie Carson" the first book in the two book series is complete.
I completed it a few years ago. But, it has to be tweaked and the kinks have to be ironed out before publication release date.
The sequel which does have a title but, I will not be releasing the name until close to publication or shortly after publication of "Mazzie Carson," the plot is thoroughly written out and I've already started on writing the book itself. But, any further details will kept secret but, chapter samples of these books I will be posting on Wattpad as well.
Shortly after, the release of the sequel to Mazzie Carson, I will be taking a quarterly intermission to finally do ghostwriting and editing services for other authors mostly the teen and young adult set. But, I will be taking on only a few projects at a time during the quarterly session.
Rates and what genres I will be agreeing to provide my literary services, etc. will be announced at that time on my Facebook, Twitter, Wattpad and certain Goodreads Groups that allow post of paid services.
Once the quarter is over I will go back to my own writing and work on completing my short story anthology, a mystery thriller and an eleven book trilogy series I started on in 2012. I will take another quarterly intermission and do ghostwriting and editing services again.
Once the quarter is over, I will resume my own writing and finish a few cozy mysteries, space opera and a few other projects, I've been working on and getting them ready for publication.
Once that is done I will be taking on ghostwriting and editing services for two quarters of the year and taking more clients on, and after that resume my own writing, and so on and so on.
